The RESISTER:
A Brief Synopsis of our Philosophy
Breaking with the almost universal tradition of underground
publications we are going to inform our readers precisely what we stand for, and why. Have no doubts; we are political. We are also soldiers.
There is no contradiction.
Every member of the armed forces takes an oath to defend the Constitution against “...all enemies, foreign and domestic.” The RESISTER does not take this oath lightly.
But one of the most perfidious assaults on the integrity of the armed forces in general is the unconscionable notion that the military must remain aloof of politics and perform any mission assigned to it by its’ civilian chiefs without question.
Take this argument to its logical conclusion and you will understand why the Founding Fathers of this nation strenuously opposed a large, Federally controlled, standing army.
What We Stand For
The philosophy of The RESISTER is straightforward: strict constitutionalism, isolationism, laissez-faire capitalism, individual rights, limited government, and republicanism.
What We Oppose
The RESISTER opposes statism, liberalism, tribalism, socialism, collectivism, internationalism, democracy, altruism, pull politics, and the New World Order.
There you have it.

Introduction
Since its introduction in June 1994, The RESISTER has become the most popular antifederalist publication in the United States.
This is remarkable because it is a clandestine publication produced by United States Army Special Forces soldiers.
The RESISTER is the psychological warfare organ of the Special Forces Underground, a voluntary association of Special Forces soldiers who know that taking no action against this nation’s unchecked decent into socialism and totalitarianism is the very antithesis of their responsibility to defend the Constitution “...against all enemies, foreign and domestic...” and to “...bear true faith and allegiance to the same.”
The Army Chain of Command’s response to The RESISTER is a frightening indicator of the political course this nation is following. It has been reviled as an “extremist” publication, without of course ever defining so-called extremism.
It has been called a “supremacist” publication, as if baseness were preferable. It has been officially banned from military libraries and bases, despite regulations which explicitly protect it from such arbitrary actions, and rulings by MACOM Judge Advocates General and Inspectors General that The RESISTER is legal.
Its authors, observers, and associates have been hunted and threatened with expulsion from the military if caught. Mere possession of a copy of The RESISTER by military personnel carries the implied threat of punitive punishment, and vocal support of The RESISTER and its policies has been punished by the arbitrary use of force by fraud.
This official response is singularly unsettling when viewed in light of the official policy statement of the Special Forces Underground:
The philosophy of the Special Forces Underground and The RESISTER is straightforward: individual rights, strict constitutionalism, limited government, isolationism, laissez-faire capitalism, and republicanism; in short, the principles upon which this nation was founded.
