Pelosi injured in Luxembourg

Nancy Pelosi reportedly tripped and fell while on an official trip to Luxembourg to commemorate the anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. The extent of her injuries has not been disclosed, but one source said that she hurt her hip after falling. It was reported tonight that she was on a medevac flight being flown to Landstuhl hospital in Germany. Landstuhl is where injured troops are taken to after being injured in Europe for advanced treatment.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has been hospitalized after she “sustained an injury” during an official engagement in Luxembourg, according to a spokesman.

Pelosi, 84, was in Europe with a bipartisan congressional delegation to mark the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge in World War II. Her spokesman, Ian Krager, said in a statement that she is “currently receiving excellent treatment from doctors and medical professionals” and is unable to attend the remainder of events on her trip.

He did not describe the nature of her injury or give any additional details, but a person familiar with the incident said that Pelosi tripped and fell while at an event with the other members of Congress. Another person familiar with the situation said she injured her hip. The people requested anonymity to discuss the fall because they were not authorized to speak about it publicly.

Pelosi has had quite a year of misfortune. A broken hip for someone of her advanced age can end up being quite serious, but I imagine she'll be getting the very best care modern medicine has to offer.

Paul Pelosi has recovered from the hammer attack, and he was not jailed for injuring people during his drunk driving accident. So he can help his Nancy recover at home.

It might be better for her to get an artificial hip. The recovery is often faster and less painful.

Blood clots and infections are the biggest threats someone with a broken hip faces. It's not unusual for someone of advanced age to suffer a stroke after fracturing their hip.

I think she has an uphill battle facing her.

Someone gave her one hell of a shove. Now they just need to shove Fauchi real good the same way and I will be satisfied. A broken rib or cracked hip will do just fine.

Also forgot to ponder, this could be the excuse she needs to not even return to the states. That would be a bit sus. though , no ...? And she recently purchased a nice new home here in Florida on the East coast .... what a shame we won't be blessed with her neighborliness in the immediate future.
