Angela Merkel is terrified of dogs

Summary; Angela Merkel of East German fame, published a memoir last month. In the memoir, she claims that Putin tried to scare her with his dog in 2007 because he knew how terrified she was of dogs. Apparently Putin apologized for his dogs behavior, which seemed to include actually sniffing at or around Mz Merkel. I am sure the dog might have been a Russian time traveling spy dog and had already been to 2024 and was unsure how to sniff her and not have her pronoun sensibilities offended...

Ok, so maybe she is afraid of dogs? But several years later in Italy she was all chumsy wumsy with a similar sized and looking dog. Is confusing to say the least..

The point being, to me at least, something about English politicians and their feelings about Russia makes them say the darndest things don't they?

Sorry meant German, but really I suppose it is really just about any EU oriented politician anywhere in Europe.

You can see how I would slip with saying English in that while your government hates you, they seem to hate Russia even more. Must be something very important to them about the territory of the Ukraine, for the life of me I cannot guess what.
