Thanking a rosemary plant

It might sound silly and I think it IS indeed silly. I have the most beautiful & generous rosemary plant. She's self sufficient. I don't take care of her. But she keeps making such beautiful rosemary leaves. I cool w it. I drink it in my tea. It smells so good.

My question is - how can I thank a plant?

By talking to it and saying 'thank you'.

I prayed and asked God for a dog, I had lost my dogs in 2020 and 2022 and have been very lonely for one.

My son was helping me move to my new home and he got a call from a dog shelter owner in the next city. She said there was a very special dog that had been dumped at a dog park 5 blocks from me, and for us to go get it.

We raced to the park and found the most beautiful puppy wedged deep under a giant rosemary shrub. My son extracted him for me and we brought him home. Now we have become inseparable.

His name is Titus
He is an Italian Mastiff, Cane Corso.

Sing to the plant, and thank it each time you harvest from it. Maybe feed it a little compost tea.

I have a small rosemary plant that I grew from my mums really tall plant.
