Politics is a tough business, sorry to see Matt Gaetz step down but I am sure he will find a way to MAGA. Maybe in the House of Representatives or maybe a different role.
I think Matt would have made a great US AG.

I respectfully disagree. Thune said recess appointments were "on the table" which, in no way at all, equals guarentee. In fact, we all know Thune cannot be trusted. More likely, Trump nominated Gaetz knowing he would be a lightnening rod for criticism and if need be could be useful pawn in the game of cabinet nominations. Gaetz had planned for this likely outcome so I am in no way concerned. Trump knows what he's doing, his last term not so much as it is related to cabinet members and staff in general. To think Trump was "blindsided" by this is way off.

IMAGINE what Attorney General Matt Gaetz will accomplish, with an entire army of law enforcement officials working with him to drain the swamp!
