Edmonds Washington is a rather small city directly north of Seattle where this (alleged) assault took place. My dad is roughly 82, and I can't imagine him assaulting anyone. But, he also has TDS so perhaps I'm mistaken. I feel like some of the people have known for decades have been completely brainwashed and have forgotten how to behave in "civilized" society as it sounds like this woman has forgotten. It truly makes my heart ache and I wonder where the old versions of these people are stored or are they gone forever.

An 82-year-old Edmonds woman was arrested for investigation of a hate crime and assault after disrupting a rally for President-elect Donald Trump the day before the election, police said.

Officers arrived to find multiple community members rallying for Trump, who is now projected to be the 47th president of the United States.

The woman reportedly told police she could not understand why people of color would support this particular candidate.

She was very animated and even tried to push an officer while demonstrating how she’d acted, according to an Edmonds Police Department press release.

Officers interviewed a 55-year-old woman, described by police as multi-racial, who said the suspect had “gotten into her face” as she rallied for Trump.

“The suspect commented on the victim’s attire and skin color before the suspect pushed the victim and punched her in the chin,” the release said. Edmonds police Cmdr. Josh McClure said Wednesday many people at the rally wore T-shirts and waved flags in support of Trump.

A 66-year-old Edmonds woman, intervened and stepped between the suspect and the first victim. The suspect responded by punching her as well, police said. Officers also interviewed multiple witnesses. Neither victim required medical treatment.

Have any of the people in your lives dramatically changed over the past several years? Sure, people change for many reasons, but there is something extra sickening about this kind of thing- it just leaves a nasty taste in my mouth knowing that these people have been manipulated for political reasons.

Screw these people. Give her 30 days for assault. They think they can get away with it because of their views. She is very much old enough to know better.

I am tired of this hate.

There have been some people on Reddit saying they’re going to report illegal immigrants who are family members of Latinos who voted for Trump.

Scary things dogma will do to a person. Once they have it in their minds that they’re “so morally correct”, they can justify any actions, even if it goes against their alleged “values”.

Ultimately we live in a form of democracy, where people choose what’s next. No matter what, some people are going to be unhappy because they wanted someone else to win, or didn’t like any of the candidates. But you can’t lash out at people while also believing in democratic governance, the two can’t coexist in reality.

Ive been watching the meltdown videos and at first it was funny and some of them still are funny but some of them are demented AH, all we can hope is they don't breed as the women are swearing to not do. They sound seriously unbalanced and I seen unbalanced, women cutting thier hair off, ala Brittney Spears BS. Men too being completely unhinged.

Who knows Im hope its just people looking for clicks and views but Ive lived with ex-wives and girlfriends and 4 teen (step)daughters and they would occasionally lose thier chit, but WOW this response from 25+ year-olds. I told my sister and brother no wisecracks too many emotionally raw people out there.

If she gets arrested she can call Kamala to bail her out.

I am sure Kamala bailout fund is still full and ready and with extra money after spending 1.2 billion dollars in campaign.

Usually I just go to work the next day 🤷‍♂️. Nothing like a good routine to find some grounding.

The news has made old people retarded only one information source will do that.


Serious it’s like that too over here at or around age 75+ here in Canada the people just only watch the news and believe it all 100% no matter what is said. Products of the past without the proper tools for the Information Age.

No kidding this stuff either way doesn't phase me, I find it interesting and like the historical part of the political theater. But as far as the impact on my real life it's negligible it's background noise and personally, we mostly talk about it and laugh.

At the end of the day, I have it better than 99% of humans ever to exist.

I try to remind myself of that when I complain when my hot water heater doesn’t work for a day when some people on this earth don’t even know that luxury.

I, like you, am interested in current events and history. But ultimately, I’m just a witness. Things will happen outside of my control and approval. Better to see it that way then expend stress and energy.

The out of touch sycophants that have been engaged in delusional Internet activism (mostly reposting/liking bots and paid influencers) are doing their best to ensure whichever Latino voters didn't already abandon them have good reason to.

They also seem to not understand the implicit acknowledgement that they expected illegals to vote, since illegals are the only people that have been threatened with deportation.

I've lived and worked with dozens upon dozens of people struggling to jump through the hoops of the broken immigration system. These are people that contribute to their communities and build value for their neighbors. I understand what the lawlessness at the border has done for the real immigrants. They get long lines and delays in processing, because the entire immigration system has increasingly been co-opted toward NGO money laundering and manipulating voter demographics.

Not only did the legal immigrants and citizens get sold out, but in the end the illegal immigrants got sold out too. They were given intentionally misleading information and there was no infrastructure or funding to deliver on the promises made. They've been treated like props, not people.

Self-reflection from emotionally immature sycophants is probably an unrealistic expectation, but the illusion of their perceived majority at least has been shattered. Now the dark triad personalities can be let off the leash to lash out at the very people they claimed to be protecting.
