I was looking at early voting results. In many states they are what you would expect. However in a couple of swing states Republicans definitely have an edge. I think if my memory serves me right this did not happen in the last cycle.

www.nbcnews.com...

Nevada and Arizona are definite surprises. The other swings, Michigan, Wisconsin, and PA, the Dems are ahead, but it seems the R side has definitely improved quite a bit. Also I think mail in ballots are way down this cycle.

It's odd that we even still have mail in drop boxes. Remember how they were just because of COVID? I remember. Just like many bad laws and ideas, they just don't stop after the "emergency". Remember how we HAD to redo all of our DOJ organization after 911 because of 911? Anyway, see this how you might, but this is a slightly white pill for me.

According to this Tim Pool episode even Portland early voting shows good "red" results.

Seems that isnt working. Here is entire link:

I mean how funny would it be if Portland Oregon went red? Not even just funny, but spectacular.

Kamala Harris has a 19-29 point advantage amongst American voters who say they have already cast their ballots, according to several US major polls.

The lead is larger than that the one Hilary Clinton had over Donald Trump in the run up to the 2016 election, when polls showed the then Democratic nominee leading between eight and 16 points.

Joe Biden had a greater margin in late 2020 polls, when Democrats embraced mail voting and Trump attacked it and persuaded his supporters not to do it.

In the states for the federal election, it matters state by state instead of popular. Also it is not surprising that the DNC is getting more votes overall because they always have. Mainly - in my mind - those are probably much easier to fart around with. The number of people volunteering to observe is much less.

BTW, for a brief time in my life (very early 1990's) I was not only a D voter, but I volunteered for them. Trust me, they are corrupt. Me and another gent were given a van, several cartons of smokes, alot of beer, and drove around homeless areas and asked for ones that were registered and gave them smokes and booze to go vote. Now to me, if an individual wanted to do that, whatever. But my pal got cash and the van and so on, from the DNC.

Anyway, keep loving the lie.

I'm inclined to agree with this. I'd rather vote early in the day on election day. I want my vote at the polling place when it's supposed to be at the polling place without relying on third parties for transportation and safety.

There is no such thing as 'early voting results'.

It is only recorded if someone is democrat or republican or independent or libertarian etc etc.

NOTHING is recorded of how they vote.

Plenty of democrats are voting republican, and plenty of republicans are voting democrat.

AND ... those who vote early are usually democrats. Republicans traditionally just vote on elections day.

So any of these stats are a nothing burger.

You should vote at your convenience. 👍
If the people in charge see a way they can cheat I’m sure they’ll jump on it as long as they think they won’t get caught.
The timing of your vote won’t affect the cheaters.
They will cheat at their convenience as well.
You do you and get your vote in and don’t let any party discourage you.
Plenty of BS already by both sides.

you know I usually read these before I post, especially with only one page. I see you covered pretty much exactly the substance of my reply.

I think we also have to take in context from what I observed this data is only showing the percentage of votes cast, not who they were cast for. So for example, my better half is registered Democrat, but she mostly voted for Republicans, including Trump and Rick Scott for Senator. However the data is only counting her as a Democrat that cast a vote if I am interperting this data accurately, which if I am not please correct me someone. It does not show whether her vote is for Red or Blue, just that she is a blue registered voter who cast her vote early.

Can anyone corroborate my inference here?

A very good post about why early voting matters….

Why early voting matters now and why the Dems failure to reproduce early voting numbers from 2020 matters:

It really is simple math, and the work left to do on election day.

Dems figured out before GOP that efforts to get the vote out early thru mail-in or early in-person voting not only banks votes, it also greatly improves the effectiveness of election day GOTV efforts.

The fewer votes that remain to be case on election day, the more resources per voter the GOTV effort can dedicate.

In most states on election day, the parties can access their registration lists and see who has returned ballots or voted early. That is actually done all through the early voting period.

On election day, they can focus 100% of their effort on the party members who have not voted. The fewer of those that remain, the more resources per voter than can devote.

If a campaign worker is given a list with 50 voters names, and told to call, text, email those 50 voters continuously over 10 hours, you might get 30 people to respond. You offer to send a ride to pick them up. Or to send a campaign worker to collect their mail-in ballot where ballot harvesting is legal. Sometimes campaign workers might go through an apartment building and knock on the door of every registered Dem who hasn't voted. The go inside and help them complete their ballot and then take it with them. Nursing home in Wisconsin had 100% voting in 2020 by this very method.

Now, consider the alternative if early voting or mail in ballots are off by 25% for Dems. Instead of getting a list with 50 names, the campaign worker gets a list with 75 names. If he got 30 of 50, only 20 votes were not realized. But if he gets only 30 of 75, now 45 votes are not realized.

And if he has 75 names rather than 50 names, he has less time per name to chase them. So rather than get 30, with less time he might only get 25. So now 50 votes have been lost.

All because early voting numbers were down and there were more votes to chase on election day.

The Dems harnessed this first. And this is why it was important for the GOP to understand that voting early not only puts votes in the bank, it makes election day efforts more efficient.

zero reason to still have drop boxes except to assist with cheating.

everyone can mail a ballot, most can vote in person.

Ballot boxes without security or cameras (in many cases) is insanity, as long as they remain any result should be suspect no matter who wins.

Seismic shift for 2024

Republican and Democrat EARLY VOTERS are neck-n-neck

See: www.abovetopsecret.com...

I think Early Voting terminates nationwide before this coming Monday Nov 4th, doesn't it?

The crazy part is liberals tend to vote early and by mail and conservatives vote on election day. It seems in the past they would have 20 point lead come Nov 5 typically. Going to be interesting if Trump pulls the popular vote too with this.

Kind of funny in Blue State Virginia ZERO mailings. You need to prove who you are, and your address with multiple documents. To vote you need to show your driver's license, they scan it for proof, then you need to verbally say your name and address, then verify all data is correct. After all that, it allows them to print you a ballot, no stacks just sitting there.

Virgina can do it efficiently and effectively why not everywhere?
