Education in Kentucky is recorded at 45th in the United States, establishing it as one of the least educated states in the US.

I was born and raised in Ky. I am an older white male without a college degree. Sounds typical right???

My "college classmates" consisted of people who played with weapons and explosives, and I spent decades working on top secret projects for the DOD and DOJ.

Just because someone doesn't have a college degree doesn't mean they are stupid.

But it does mean they never got through college.

There is no innocent person in that. I'd imagine that in most, if not all, states, wearing signs, hats, or shirts with campaign material on them is illegal.

He was wrong to wear the hat inside a polling place, and the poll workers were wrong for how they dealt with it. I'm not convinced that was not staged.

North carolina HAS NO LAW on wearing political stuff.

OK, that's a bad thing. It's just asking for trouble. Do they allow people to solicit votes at or near the entrance? I wonder what federal law says about it.

Clothes are not electioneering in reality. thats if you are actively telling others to vote for someone WHILE wearing stuff like that.

Elon Musk has a Bachelor of Arts in physics and a Bachelor of Science in economics from Wharton. He claimed to have degrees from the University of Pennsylvania too, but that turned out to be untrue.

What? I was merely correcting Yuppa, who said that Elon didn't graduate college. He did.

Musk arrived in Canada in June 1989, connected with a second cousin in Saskatchewan,[42] and worked odd jobs including at a farm and a lumber mill.[43] In 1990, he entered Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario.[44][45]

Two years later, he transferred to the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied until 1995.[46] Although Musk has said that he earned his degrees in 1995, the University of Pennsylvania did not award them until 1997–a Bachelor of Arts in physics and a Bachelor of Science in economics from the university's Wharton School

That doesn’t impress me. That big ass fridge with wheels doesn’t impress me either (although would be fun to drive). If he gets us to mars then I’ll be impressed.

A man enters to vote. White. Older. A camo hat....with a flag and the name....Trump? As you can see in the video, he gets upset and he does use profanity but...can you blame him? He is called trash. A terrorist. A deplorable......by his own government.

It escalates and it seems they are telling him he cannot vote when....SMACK....a poll worker hits him.

This is America? 8 angry black woman attack him. Threaten him. All yelling at him the whole time.

If this was 8 white people and person of color with a BLM hat they would have burned down the local McDonalds already.

In this instance, I cannot say either party is wrong, or right but.....wearing a hat will not change anything and most certainly I know in poll watching training they never said we could hit people.

I, for one, am tired of this entitlement.

Probably late to the party, but election rules are "NO CAMPAIGN/CANDIDATE MATERIAL WITHIN 100 FEET OF THE POLLING PLACE!" www.verifythis.com... 370e

I'm going to have to deal with this as a judge on Tuesday.

All he had to do was put his hat in the truck and he can vote. No biggie. But he was determined to "make a statement" an got aggressive about it.

Can I mock him? I've got a few more degrees than he does. Mind you, my parents were nowhere near as wealthy as his, which is why I'm not a billionaire.

If its illegal the only thing the poll workers have the right to do is withhold the ballot and notify the police.

They cant put hands on the person then its assault (or is it battery? I can never remember).

Either way If it is illegal they should have just told him to put the hat in the truck and he can vote, he gets belligerent, "sir if you dont calm down I will have to call the police" then do so and let the cops sort it out.

The hat said Lets Go Brandon. How that is campaigning material?

A person can act like an idiot. You call the police. End of Story. When someone who is representing a polling station there is never a reason to gang up on and then hit a voter.

None.

Charge him with the misdemeanor and fine him. Charge her with battery and allow PTI anger management so she has no record. I do not want her to hang, but, they were just as out of line..

Honestly, I think you know your wrong and are just doubling down at this point. The guy laid hands on her first, he deliberately turns his back to the camera so it can’t be filmed, but you clearly see his hand forcefully move towards her head. I would’ve guessed it was a slap, but others have said it was claimed to be a tap on the head.

Either way, he was the aggressor in this situation.

Thats why you call the cops you dont get in someone's face, the second you do that you enter a grey area where a variety of things could put you in trouble rather than the person you were yelling at.

Especially in this situation, being aggressive with your interpretation of the laws is more likely to land you in hot water at a voting location.

Watch this extended video.

You can clearly see where the man physically pokes the poll worker on her forehead, and she swats away his hand.

Keep watching. He them starts getting more physical with the poll workers who have stepped between him and the pole worker.

Some polling places do have officers on site. They all should.

Yeah. Biden isn't on the Ballots, and "Brandon" isn't a name running for any office there either. It's highly possible the hat slogan is legal.

AND, we need these self proclaimed experts and authorities to explain how those poll workers had any authority to determine what is or isn't "Legal".

What part(s) of the existing law(s) give a poll worker authority to make determinations like stop somebody from voting?

SLED investigating dispute over a voter’s ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ hat

This says law enforcement officers do the actual "removing". I say the women were exceeding authority (also illegal)

As per state law, poll managers “shall use every reasonable means” to keep polling places “clear of political literature and displays” within 500 feet of the entrance. At poll managers’ request, law enforcement officers will remove anything “distributed or displayed” in violation of the law.
