Several employees for the Los Angeles Times resigned after the editorial board refrained from endorsing a presidential candidate.
LA Times’ billionaire owner, Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, blocked the editorial board’s plan to endorse Kamala Harris, Semafor reported.
Mariel Garza, the paper’s editorials editor, resigned the next day.

Earlier today, the Democrat-owned and revered Washington Post decided not to endorse Democrat Kamala Harris.
Now we have the largest, most respected newspaper in Kamala Harris's home state, un-willing to say she'd make a decent President. When Kamala
Harris was in the early stages of her (failed) 2020 Presidential bid, it was the Los Angeles Times who wrote that 9 out of every 10 people they polled
in California said they would NOT vote for Senator Harris to be President Harris.
It makes you wonder how Kamala Harris was elected to the U.S. Senate to represent California in the first place, doesn't it?
