Well I have more than a layman's knowledge in this particular area. I agree that what most people think of witchcraft today is nowhere near what it actually is. And not just witches can cast spells. Shaman, Hougan, or witch, all practitioners of some sort of mystic tradition.

I too have more than a layman's knowledge being trained in urban Shamanism by my ex, a curandera/cleric/RN.
I hesitate to use my training except in dire circumstances.
The line has been drawn, the curse, it is cast....

Damn, I don't know about you but this morning it felt like a spell was broken.....a weight off my chest....my head clearer.....
