I never got into games much. I think they are kind of boring. I liked pool and foosball when I went to the bars when I was young..but no video
games. Never got addicted to them. Also, although I used to like playing frisbee, I never got into sports much...I watch the commercials when they
have the end of the year football playoffs, but have never got enthused about the superbowl itself. I know a lot of people who think I am different
because I am not interested in sports....but I like fishing and recreational swimming and hunting because it is all out in nature. Not much for
swimming in swimming pools, seems too safe for me when there are not pike or bass trying to nibble on your toes occasionally.
I can't understand why people get so enthused in playing video games...It does not matter how good the technology is, It is not real, and your
participation in some of them is not real either. I would rather cut and split firewood or spend my time growing stuff in a garden you can eat than
waste it playing video games.
If others want to do it and like it, it is their choice to make if it makes them feel happy. I do not support any sports teams either, so many people
seem to portray that they are members of the team just because they support it. They get critical when talking to someone who backs a different same
says something. People also are Ford or Chevy people, along with toyota or subaru people...cars are just cars...they are there as transportation, I
get the cheapest ones and it is enough to me to just have something to drive. I have had all kinds of Trucks and cars....they have one thing in
common, it costs money to buy and maintain them which keeps us poor if we buy one that is too expensive.
That is life in the reality we live in....a reality created by consumerism and opinion and beliefs. It makes life interesting. But if someone says I
am a Ford man just because I own one Ford....it makes me scratch my head. I used to have between six and seven cars and trucks on the road at all
times, insured and plated...some new some old. Now I only keep two on the road but still own five plus one that needs work. I have my obsessions
too, they are just different than most people's. Three of my cars and trucks now are antiques, the youngest one is a sixty seven, then a sixty three,
then a forty seven. At least I don't have five boats anymore....got rid of them all except a rubber raft, gave them away...two to my brother, one
canoe to my daughter, and one to my granddaughters friend. All are still available if I want to use them except the one I gave to the granddaughters
friend.
