Nearly one-third of Border Patrol’s cameras along the US-Mexico border ‘don’t work’

Apparently about 1/3 of the Border Cameras along The U.S.-Mexico Border are out of service and they aren't being fixed so fast for some reason.

Border cameras are supposedly repaired and maintained by The FAA, not anybody in The DHS.

Hmmmm

Bet those camera locations are commonly known by the smuggler cartels don't you think?

Nearly one-third of Border Patrol’s cameras along the US-Mexico border ‘don’t work’

Nearly one third of surveillance cameras along the US-Mexico border are not working, according to an internal memo from Border Patrol.

Roughly 150 of the 500 cameras on watchtowers along the border have been affected, causing “significant impacts” on operations according to the memo obtained by NBC.

The issue is reportedly due to “several technical problems,” and officials, who spoke to NBC on the condition of anonymity, blamed outdated equipment and outstanding repair issues. It is understood that the problems have persisted for some time.

According to the memo, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), which is responsible for the upkeep of the cameras, has had issues meeting the demands of Border Patrol, though the issues are not specified. The FAA will send personnel to the southern border to work on the cameras, the memo says.

Funny how quickly Kamala jumped on the fake story about border patrol agents whipping migrants (almost as quickly as she jumped on the fake Jussie Smollet story). Raging against border patrol and ICE are at the top of her border priorities. But non-working cameras? Meh. Things that actually protect the border aren't even on her list.

Why on earth would the FAA of all agencies be responsible for replacement camera's?
No defense contractor felt like bidding on it? (airspace surveillance, I get it)
Anyone wanna ask why if Area 51 & White Sands along with others has ground sensors we don't have them along the border?

Yep...landmines. Treaty...blah-blah I know but that was for use in war. Other countries don't play with border security why are we?

The cameras no working in areas where the sex child smugglers bring the children in, the government knows exactly what is going on and is making sure the cartels faces and the handlers are not in video.

This the state of affairs in our nation, when cartels, wealthy funders and the government work together to keep the horrendous child crime well and protected in the US.
