Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson said during a news conference Tuesday morning that he will be suing CNN for defamation after the news organization reported that he made racist, explicit comments on a porn site -- referring to himself as a "Black Nazi" and calling for the reinstatement of slavery.

(keeping in mind, Robinson is a black man, and has been all his life)

Still don't know what the truth is here, but Robinson claims the charges are totally false. He had the option to step down, or fight. It seems he chose option B. The damage to his campaign is massive, so if this is as advertised, and Robinson is innocent of these things, I don't expect this to be the only lawsuit filed.

And to be clear, whatever you think about Mark Robinson doesn't change the facts of this. Since he chose to fight this, if he really did make those posts, this would be the dumbest move ever, so from my view, this looks like a political hit, just as it did when it came out. BAMN.

Oh wow. First time hearing this one. Are the allegations true? Or did someone spoof him on the site? I can see someone trolling and posting as him. But if this is true he doesn't have much of a case.

I came across this article.

He bemoaned the lack of support he said he was receiving from Jewish voters, saying if he failed to win the election, "the Jewish people would really have a lot to do with that".

It wouldn't be hard for an experienced hacker to create a fake account that directly tied to his WIFI. That hacker is probably tied to his opposition or the opposition campaign...or possibly to someone he pissed off over the years.

The news agencies parroting possible false information should make them liable. We need to make our News agencies so they do not parrot misinformation and that includes parroting information created by others to defame the person. Our news agencies should not be stating things if there is even a chance it came from someone who hacked to make it appear someone dd something wrong. I do not like the way that technology is screwing up our society by people utilizing it to dishonestly destroy people's lives

One thing is telling, the timing.

Reports emerged earlier Thursday that CNN was planning to publish a damaging story that could lead other Republicans to call on Robinson to drop out of the race. In a video posted to X before the CNN story was published, Robinson flatly denied that he said anything in the CNN report and insisted he won't drop out. North Carolina will begin mailing ballots to members of the military and voters outside the U.S. on Friday.

hit job

This allegation cannot ever be proven and was done on the eve of ballots being mailed out. The democrats, msm-CNN, and rinos have proven time and time again that there are no limits to how low they will go to smear a republican, especially one that Trump supports and endorses.

Trump has praised Robinson on the campaign trail, including recently at an rally last month in Asheboro, North Carolina.

“Good luck. Mark’s got to win. He’s got to win. Got to win. He’s a good man,” Trump added.

Hah. Well the hacker would of have to have been a time traveler. Because these posts were made over ten years ago, between 2008 and 2012.

This X post does some digging and connecting the dots about that username.

Right. I agree that, for now, this is just a bunch of allegations. +

And more proof is required to verify that it was actually him posting this sort of thing. For now it's just an allegation.

Yeah, Wifi back then didn't even have much security, A neighbor or could have tapped into his WIFI. I used to just have our WIFI open to anyone back then....but I live out in the country so it was not a problem. I just started encrypting it maybe six years ago because people would come into our driveway and hook up to our WIFI and I used to have it pop up that someone was using it when I was on the computer. Our neighbors also were using our internet and it really slowed things down a lot. Now our router also has a shorter range, I used to get the ones that I could use all over our property but people on the road with laptops could also use it which is around two hundred fifty feet away. We did not have smart phones back then so people out and about would stop on the side of the road here to get hooked up through our link. Mostly looking for directions to find someone's house they were going to I think, because they would only be there maybe three to five minutes. Our last two routers only have a range of a couple hundred feet from our house, but since the smart phones are out we can connect on those. When near the house, the wife's phone hooks up through the internet because we only have one gig a month of data through our plan on the phone...twelve bucks a month for that phone. Our home phone is a landline....that has one hundred fifty gigs but we often have to pay ten bucks extra a month because of going over.

So it could have been a neighbor who got access to his internet WIFI, Around here in 2008, we did not have much ability to do much on cell phones but he lived in the city so maybe they had better cell programs if he did it on his phone which doesn't have hot spot unless activated...back then I do not think hot spot on phones was available.

But then again, he could have done what he is denying, or his kid could have too if he had one.

The tell on this is the use of Nazi. It's the lefts go to smear. The Nazi thing has gotten old from the idiots that learned from actual Nazis! I swear that the US really began its downfall with all the Nazis we allowed into our government institutions!

I don't care for the implication that scrutinizing Jewish people is antisemitic. That's just a weak excuse to implement fascist policy. Everyone is subject to ridicule and criticism, that's just what free speech does.

I've seen some of the posts he allegedly made earlier on a certain website that rhymes with schmedit. They are.... explicit. Him talking about his sister in law and them doing things together.

The hacker would of have to have known he was married and that the wife had a sister. Not out of the realm of possibility. Not convinced this is legit yet.

Just an update. The lawsuit has been amended by Robinson. He's now seeking a total of 25 thousand instead of 50 million
from CNN.
