I find those moving things that look like falling stars a bit troubling.

Being time lapse, they aren't burning things leaving trails, but they are moving things, and so many!

Sometimes I wish the sky was just a bit thicker,
but then the Earth would have to be bigger,
a bigger target.

They seem to be moving in straight lines.

I suppose there is a database for all that human stuff.
It's probably more precise than Scuttle's.

When you stare into the the Void, maybe it's staring back at you?

It's the physics of optics.

Space walks are relatively close. The aperture is smaller to keep a decent field of focus. Small apertures gather less light.

Deep Space can be considered near infinity for focus, thus set focus for infinity and crank that aperture wide open to gather more light.

I had an official signed photo of the Appolo 11 crew.

My Mum threw it out when I was at Uni and my parents moved.

Along with my fossil and meteorite collection.

Grrrrrr....

Same happened to me... i went back to my mums to collect my record collection and some very old engineering books, plus lots of other bits... anyway she sold everything for 50p each at a car boot sale !!! gutted does not cover it, it was about 20 years ago now and it still makes me Grrrrrrr.

Bummer.

My brother nicked my records and claimed they were his.

That is a good timelapse. There sure are a real lot of stars and galaxies out there, way more than they used to say there were years ago.

ha.... families eh, that was a regular thing back in the eighties, 4 brothers and a sister all claiming "that" album was theirs !
