Not surprised. Opinion Editorial. For us old-schoolers. When you had to specify your article was based on your best thinking while on the toilet.

You should read it. Helps with your argument since that’s all they do there 24/7/365.

But carry on about The Independent and OMB in cognitive decline….they have similar articles at The Atlantic.

OK. But just as Biden's cognitive decline was plain to see, it also seems plain to see the same in DJT?

How about his incoherent rambling in Pennsylvania?

If Kamala did that, you'd be all over it.

I don’t know. I find him to be a loud-mouthed arrogant buffoon myself. And “let me be clear” as they say before the Dems botch something as simple as the alphabet; if I was all over Kamala for being incoherent after Biden for the last 4 years, I’d die of auto-asphyxiation.

And not in a good way.

Still he’s better than the Harris/Biden administration.

To be fair. If I’d had 3 attacks on my life in one year, I might be a little unhinged too. Ya know?

My point about cognitive ability testing remains.

If he's to old to be an airline pilot, is this not an issue for a POTUS?

Oh you must not be aware of new FAA regulations like the last decade here in the states. Because if you’re too smart, have experience in the airline industry, or are really smart at math and science, they won’t hire you. DEI is more important and stuff. Also you can’t be a pilot unless you got jabbed and proved you’re a sheep to the system. So there is that too.

Also. To your point. Trump and others were asking for Biden to perform cognitive test for AWHILE, and he was fine the whole time. Until he wasn’t.

But nice analogy.

Next?

I hear what you’re saying and I agree to a point.
85 seems like a good number.
Cognitive tests not so much.
Who gives the test?
The POTUS hand picked physician?
The other party?
It would turn into a joke and weaponized by anybody.

I don’t see the decline in Trump’s brain like the never trumpers do.
He’s always spoken like he does.
Rambling and off script. Yes.
Incoherent. No.

We will see how he does a few years into his next term.
I’m sure the media will try and make it a huge deal from day one through day 1400.

ETA: This is what the 25th amendment is for.

So you don't think cognitive ability testing is a good idea.

OK.

That article has opinions from quite a lot of leading mental health professionals including a former White House doctor so it was a bit more than an Op Ed.

Should they just be waved away?

Good questions.

85 is way too old!

That Pennsylvania thing was incoherent, mind.

They gave up the chance to make any arguments about cognitive ability when they refused to acknowledge that Biden was effectively a lampshade for 3 years. No one will take it seriously now.

Oh no. It’s a great idea. Truly it is. Why wouldn’t I be? I’m not so beholden to either party that knowing the person carrying the football should be tip-top mentally.

But as was pointed out. What’s a hand-picked physician gonna say? And “let me be clear”, everyone in power and of clout knew Biden was on the downward well before office.

So there is that.

Fair point. I was more referring to the health "experts" that are commenting on Trumps cognitive ability than your comments.

Sorry for the confusion.

My honest opinion...

Trumps seems (yes just my opinion) more like an old man 98% of the time normal and level with dips, bidens seemed much more like peaks and valleys which in my opinion was more indicative of a mental issue.

That said, Biden picked an idiot as running mate, harris picked a communist idiot as running mate, trump picked someone that is wickedly smart, you might not like his opinions but you cant say he is an idiot.

Thats why I would feel much better with trump in the white house compared to the alternative. I do not understand this trend of picking a running mate that is so bad to make sure you dont get removed.

The ONLY poll model that matters, come Nov 5th.

Trump/Vance 302 E.C. votes

Harris/Walz 236 E.C. votes
