Afghan National busted in OKC Oklahoma for plotting Election Day terror attack!

OKLAHOMA CITY — An Afghan man living in Oklahoma City was arrested by the FBI for what officials say was a planned Election Day attack to be carried out for designated foreign terrorist organization ISIS.

Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi entered the United States in 2021 using a special immigrant visa and had allegedly taken steps to carry out a terrorist attack on Election Day by acquiring AK-47 assault rifles and ammunition, liquidating his family's assets and planning to send his family members to Afghanistan according to the criminal complaint.

"As charged, the Justice Department foiled the defendant's plot to acquire semi-automatic weapons and commit a violent attack in the name of ISIS on U.S. soil on Election Day," said Attorney General Merrick B. Garland. "We will continue to combat the ongoing threat that ISIS and its supporters pose to America's national security, and we will identify, investigate, and prosecute the individuals who seek to terrorize the American people."

The criminal complaint states that during the course of the FBI's investigation, they searched Tawhedi's phone and found communications between him and a person who organized recruitment, training and indoctrination for a group who Tawhedi understood to be ISIS.

It's also alleged that Tawhedi had ISIS propaganda saved on his iCloud and Google account, participated in pro-ISIS Telegram groups and contributed to a false charity funneling money to ISIS.

So, is this the standard FBI affair. Find some dope, groom him to create a plot, then swoop in all "super commando"? What concerns me the most is this butt nugget had a freaking visa. So, what does this say for the thousands of Islamic Fundamentalist Geehawd Johnnys that crossed illegally over the last four years?

Moreover, Election Day is a big target! This almost feels like propaganda to scare folks from the polls. IDK. So much obfuscation. And the average American is still Fleetwood Mac ('tell me sweet little lies') God be with us all.

Odd he had years to do this and they got him a month before the election. Whereas school kids with mental issues, and agenda, and threats they’ve made in the past, always seem to somehow slip by the FBI.

Even when they’re “known and on the radar”.


Edit: read another way, it makes a great case as to why we vet people trying to come here. But I’m sure that ain’t the detail I’m suppose to be focusing on.

With regard to what we're supposed to be focusing on. Well, it's supposed to be "us versus them". That way, they can divide the country and rule from their tiny little cabal of 'elites'. Elites?
