Glad yall weathered it well, tree trimmers that were on call for the insurance company were out cleaning up his neighborhood yesterday even with the
water in the area so it must be draining somewhat.
chancy road between Morris bridge and 301 has got to be a mess, I saw those houses on the gulf side of chancy flood a few times growing up, id wager
many of them will be a total loss this time around.
eta: Funny thing Im about to get an Alaska equivalent so I wont be able to fly down even if the water drains away, every hour the last 2 days forecast
looks worse and worse for next week. we are up to 10 inches snow/sleet in the valley and up to 20 inches at higher elevation, with somewhere between
35 and 50 mph gusts.
Its bad enough the USAF base I work on will probably close mon and tues at least and my boss already told me to telework if I dont think the drive is
safe for those two days.
My kids school (a place that does outdoors recess till -20F) also is on the edge of closing.
