They have been upgraded significantly.

Both are very capable.

I think the pilots exclamation was due to the wake and or jetwash.

Here the two aircraft are compared. Pretty well matched it seems:

The 'oh #' from the pilot in the F16 suggests he was taken by surprise, which I have to say is quite strange.


I think it was more to do with S35 flying as close as they did and the wake caused rather than suprise.

If they were at war the F16s actions would have been very different.

That lumbering turboprop wouldn't have got anywhere close for a start.
