As recently as November 2009, Joe Biden's net worth was less than $30,000, according to CBS, but life post-vice presidency has been quite lucrative for President Obama's former number two. When Biden released his financial disclosures in July of 2019, they showed that he and his wife Jill had earned more than $15 million in 2017 and 2018.

[...]
More specifically, the Bidens reported an adjusted gross income of roughly $11 million in 2017 and $4.6 million in 2018. The bulk of that number comes from a multi-book deal with Flatiron Books valued at $8 million per Publishers Weekly, but the Bidens also earned a sizable income from speaking engagements.

True. He’s not lying about how he lost 1/3 of his wealth in 4 years.

He’s lying about how that means he’s a genius businessman.

Name one modern politician that DOESN'T LIE?

They all lie, make embellishments exaggerate, and lots of times on things that the GP doesn't give a chit about.

Like saying you worked at McDonalds as a teen...

Additionally, instead of making excuses for our particular party's President, we ought to collectively rail on the one that got incredibly rich like Bush Sr worth 7 times as much as before, Clinton worth 200 times as much as before, Barrack worth 70 times as much as before

Not to mention virtually every company Ive worked for in Travel, Construction,Courier, Pest Control, and repping dozens of companies all owners and CEOs said their companies' worth or figures were significantly more than they were in actuality

Respectfully

He's still smarter and richer than you or I. Calling himself a genius might have some weight considering he increased his net worth from $2.5 billion to $7.5 billion in less than 5 years.

So, remind me what it is that breeds contempt? Is it jealousy?

There is nothing intelligent about communism. It is the height of foolishness

Trump lost money personally during his presidency, because he was restricted from directly engaging in much of his businesses. But during his presidency, most Americans enjoyed a lot less costs in providing food and gas for their daily lives. We benefitted a lot by him running the country.

Sure I got cost of living increases because of inflation with Biden in charge, but overall We are lots worse off with the wife and I on Social Security than we were during Trump's term. The Democrats made it a lot more expensive to live.

Trump focused on our betterment than his own during his term in office. Sure the Covid pandemic did screw it up somewhat, just think how much better things would have been for citizens if he would have not had that happen the last year. Biden in my book was the worst president in our US history, during his rein, sure prices of houses went through the roof which made everyone believe they were richer, but so did property taxes as people sold their houses and resulted in a major increase in taxes collected by the government. I see a major downturn in housing values in our future, the cost of owning a home or renting is going way up and is not feasible...yet people believe they are richer...which means they are more gullible than they were decades ago..

I didn't mind most of what Obama did, but Joe sure screwed things up when he got to be president and I do not think Kamala can fix anything properly, she will make us believe she is fixing things by steering our beliefs into delusion.

Is Trump still going to be good for our country now that the Democrats and left has thrashed him? I don't know, but I am pretty sure even if he is irate, he will still be better than kamala who is a deceiver of the highest quality.

This is complete nonsense, his truth social company has gone from $78 a share to under $13 a share currently. Plus if Trump tries to sell any of he’s shares it’ll go to nothing instantly. It’s not real wealth.

I believe most community colleges are offering ECON 101.

Perhaps a refresher course on stocks and finance?

Or you could simply read the article and it breaks down his revenue streams. Just a teaser though before you read it: Truth Social's parent company is worth $5.6 billion at the time of the writing of that article.

That should be an indicator that's it a bit more involved than what you find to be "nonsense".

It’s really not more “involved”, the whole thing is just another grift by Donald Trump. It’s a company that is losing millions and never has any prospect of being profitable. Only reason the stock is staying so artificially high is because Trump keeps manipulating it by claiming what a great company it is, which he knows is a lie.

When he loses the election and the company completely crashes he’ll have some major law suits against him for this little scheme.

Y’all love to simp over Trump and talk about what a great business man he is, but the reality is the only reason his ‘Trump brand’ was still relevant and he was able to remain wealthy and become President, is because he scored that gig on The Apprentice. Without that no one would barely even remember who he was and he’d probably be completely broke by now.
