Pesto , the Penguin Born to be King

Pesto the penguin is a big lad , or girl , whether Pesto is a he , she or they is yet to be determined as a lab test is required but at 49 pounds and just 9 months of age Pesto who was born in the Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium is currently the King of baby King penguins.


You know you're in the shadow of greatness when you have to look up to your 9 month old.

That's big. I had to look it up. Normal adult weights are 21-40 lbs.

He's so chunky i love it! Reminds me of that PBS show where they put the cameras inside fake animals to spy on real animals hehehehehe. He looks like an imposter.

Reminds me of the old days when I used to go to church on sundays. Even worse, going to wedding events with groomsmen and parents in tuxedos

Last year and the year before, the great granddaughter used to push her way up the driveway like that when I got her off the bus. She is dropped off at our house every morning to catch the bus. Pink jacket too, had to wash that jacket every week. Sliding up and down the snowbanks with sand on them also made a mess of her clothes, and she did that every morning on the way down to the road. Thank god she is seven now and has stopped that behavior now.

lol, my now 16 year old used to do that too. He was always a mess and I was always washing!

Up North winters are way different then us on the southern mitten lol!
