There was no doubt HAMAS was responsible. Hamas terrorists took videos of the murders and abductions. Hamas leaders bragged to reporters about the "successful infiltration" and killings that took place inside the nation of Israel.

U.S. charges senior Hamas leaders with deaths of Americans in Israel

Washington - Six senior leaders of Hamas, including the militant group's political head Yahya Sinwar, were charged with terrorism and other crimes in connection with the Oct. 7 attacks on Israel, the U.S. Justice Department announced Tuesday.

Federal prosecutors filed criminal charges against senior Hamas leaders for the deaths of at least 43 American citizens in Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, according to charging documents unsealed Tuesday.

Hamas-led militants killed more than 1,200 people on Oct. 7, and kidnapped about 250 individuals in Israel.

"As of the date of this Complaint, at least 43 American citizens were among those murdered, and at least 10 American citizens were taken hostage or remain unaccounted for," the criminal complaint filed Monday Sep 3, 2024 said.

For the same reason it took more than 2 1/2 years to bring charges against Trump for interfering in the 2020 election. You have to gather evidence, interview witnesses, take it before a Grand Jury, and then get an indictment.

Hamas just like any other groups are proliferating now in the US thanks to democrats butt kissing policies to terrorist and criminals.
