Regional express airways bankrupt

REX airlines a regional airline that flys into smaller areas neglected by larger airlines has gone jndr.

This is pretty substantial as they connected smaller towns to capital cities.

Now people who need to connect to other flights or four medical appointments in larger capitals are stuffed.

This is sad news as once again we only have qantas, and virgin as Major players as well as Jetstar which is owned by Qantas.

The automotive and airline industry would of died here long ago without government support. It was Tony Abbot that put the knife into Holden's. Sad to see REX go, going to make life in the country slower. Part of the 15 min city plan?

It’s a worry mate, the government aren’t investing in local manufacturing. Australia is none simply a warehouse countr with cheap crap from China coming in.

Look at the crap box ldv cars, etc Ron there it’s an embarrassment that people are buying this crap.
