The more time goes by today, the more people agree with me.

I just went on a jog around a few blocks and 8 people showed me direct animosity with their actions from their body language.

Society is more trusting. Society is more nice. Society cares. Society shows positive attention to people in society. NOT.

Even the people behind this site are ruthless when it comes to giving positivity to people, almost like they are in hell and they desire others to be with them.

Can you give examples of the body language you received ? And what you were doing when you received it?

Can you also give examples of what positive body language is to you. And why you should receive it?
Just because?

Should you also be the recipient of positivity? Why? What if you were in fact the bringer of negativity to those people and they reacted accordingly. We simply don’t know.

Can you blame the people there? Their state and local governments are taxing the hell out of people there. Yes wages are high, but cost of living and taxes in the state are so high, they could make half the money they make there in some places of other states and be better off. Also, in California it is hard to challenge the people running the state, they do not listen to their people's concerns unless they match their own.

Seems like lately the rest of the country is trying to catch up with California with high prices and extra taxes on property. They may not be raising the tax rate, but with the values of houses raising real high, the amount of taxes go way up. Some states like Michigan have limits on raise of taxable value unless you unlock the taxes by a major improvement or if the property changes hands. So lately people seem to be complaining a lot, not much wage increase but everything else keeps going up.

I live here and lived here all my life. It’s different for sure than it used to be. That can be said for probably almost anywhere I suppose. Don’t know if this makes a difference or not, aside from being a sign of the times, I may be one of the few ‘originally’ from LA. Everyone I know and work with is from somewhere else. If someone starts talking to me and the conversation gets to a where you from? It’s from another state or country etc.

Well again as I am from LA, 99% of these people here are clones of their gov. They wanted this s$@!

I've lived here (northern California) all my life as well.

The only "change" I've noted is that the population, at least in my city, has become far more diverse and cosmopolitan. That is most likely due to the fact that the city has been very welcoming refugees from strife-stricken countries around the world , and has been so since the end of the war in Vietnam.

This has lead to a vibrant cultural life, and easy access to food and other items from around the globe. It also seems to contribute to a community that is more open and accepting of change, since so many of my neighbors have experienced tragedy and loss, they are more sensitive, more empathic, to others who might be facing the same fates.

I'm not sure how it is in socal, but I own a home (bought 12 years ago) and live comfortably on my pension (Social Security kicks in in about 6 months for an additional boost). Don't really have much trouble taxes, and California does not tax Social Security, so there's that.

Diversity to me has never been a benefit for anything outside of a menu. So it’s awesome you get the food to bad the people had to come with it.

Diversity means wildly different world views so different in fact that they become wholly unreconcilable most of the time. Anyone who believes in monotheism, anyone who believes in gender superiority from their religion.
Anyone who is even the slightest bit socialist or communist.

So yea I can do without these things. Zero interest in them and the people who hold these ideas.

Happy you get curry or pho or what ever.
