Hello ATS!

Now I'll show you a trick. Choose any card from those given in the picture. Now close your eyes and repeat the name out loud 10 times. This is necessary for you to remember well. When you say the name of the card, the psychic vibrations of your thoughts from the place where you are will be transferred to my brain. Once you finish reading this article, I will be able to tell you exactly which card you chose. Shall we try? The answer is waiting for you at the end of the thread. Don't rush to peek.

I found this card trick on the blog of neuroscientist, philosopher, inventor, and former intelligence officer Eric Haseltine. The trick is worth doing to understand once and for all how our brains work. In short: the brain greatly distorts information about reality. Why is this happening? For our ancestors, the world around us was too complex and dangerous, but situations in which it was necessary to act decisively happened more often. The ancient man sees the beast. Run or fight? Whoever thought faster survived. Therefore, our brain developed in the direction of distortion and simplification of working with information.

Keep your focus only on the necessary details.
Remember only what you need.
See the meaning in what you remember.
Act quickly when the situation arises.
The brain oversimplifies the world. Sees what he expects. Ignores what he doesn't expect. Eric Haseltine shows how it works. Here is an example of such a bias in our thinking, which seeks to simplify everything. Count all the F's in the sentence as quickly as possible.

"Finished Files Are the Result of Years of Scientific Study Combined With the Experience of Years"

Most people see three F's instead of the six that are actually there. Half the letters are ignored because the word of has no lexical meaning, it is a preposition. Our brain tends to focus on what it considers significant and discards what it does not see as meaningful. These processes occur unconsciously and automatically. All good magicians know this well. They carefully sequence events to shape our expectations and guide us along the path they want.

Let's find out if I can guess the card you wished for. Ready? Look at that set of cards I showed you earlier. The card you chose is no longer there. Magic!

You may ask why you need to repeat the card out loud exactly 10 times. Everything according to Dr. Goebbels. “A lie repeated many times becomes the truth. This is about the issue of the Western mainstream media.

Thank you

Ace of diamonds is now ace of hearts

Just go through the experiment according to the instructions)))

Now you understand this world and why people are so easily fooled. Everyone sees their card, but they are too lazy to look at everyone else.))

Nope. It was obvious that all the cards changed. Epic fail.

I study a bit of the old card tricks. Lennert Green is my favourite. His prestidigitation is awesome.

I clocked the trick without having to scroll up and down to check the cards having seen it before with an animation version. When magic is performed 'live' and in your face, even I get fooled, and funnier still, when i already know how the trick is done.

But... I think you miss the point of the post....It's not about the trick, it's the 'other mechanics' that make the trick that is interesting, the bit that no one see's that makes it all work. Apply that principle to what is going on in the world.

Just for the fun and light entertainment......

Green competed at the 1988 FISM convention in The Hague, Netherlands, and was erroneously disqualified because the judges believed he had used stooges in his act to shuffle the cards. In 1991, he performed the same act but insisted that the judges themselves shuffle the cards to prove that he used no stooges. The judges then awarded him first place.

Well, it didn't fool me.

As for any application to Western MSM, it would apply much more to Russian state controlled media.

As does the Goebbels quote. Irony.

Eg: "Special Military Operation".

When they get a 100 people to view a item write it down what they observed in scientific studies they were blown away by what was discovered RT ,

98 or 99 % would say a small white table was observed in the study one or more percent would observe something totally different to what the majority was perceiving, And when the one or more percent group was challenged on their viewing object they stuck to their statement of what was observed and it caused many of them serious mental health problems when it was divulged to them they were different? .

Not everyone sees the same colour or shape or size

ps I was the 7 of clubs

I actually come across a professional card counter at my work offshore many years ago , This person was good and was a great laugh ,telling jokes as he dealt the cards , He was a massive man with a gold chain as thick as my thumb around his neck then it was a £ 1000 per inch these days you could times that by ten minimum .

But he was nowhere as good as the guy in the video
