"Kurt Russell SILENCES Woke Culture."

Not a lot of Kurt actually talking, so take it with that grain of salt. And maybe a shot of Tequila.

Can't get that video button to work.

Kurt Russel had a UFO encounter. I think it was the Phoenix Lights one.

He was flying his little airplane and almost ran into the object making the lights.

I saw an interview with him telling about it at a MUFON convention in New Jersey.

Good on Kurt. I’ve said long ago, the people who have the money have to counter these nuts with making their own movies, music etc. and let the peoples (money) do the talking.

Reprising his old roles, I see.

That's understandable. What happened to her? Did she commit suicide?

It's a Kurt Russell quote from the lead character he played in the movie "Big Trouble in Little China".

As to my marital status, I have been happily married for more than 30 years and we still love each other - I'm mentioning this just in case you believe it is somehow relevant to the topic.

What I am suggesting, relevant to the topic, is that Kurt Russell the actor, probably doesn't give a damn about 'wokeness' in movies.

He got his start in moves with Disney.

He has appeared in 'woke' classics such as "Silkwood", "Vanilla Sky" and "Miracle".

He also has contributed to various Marvel projects which have had strong DEI messages.

In recent films, twice, he has been Santa Claus and has appeared in the most recent three "Fast and Furious" films.

He also acted in other films such as "Dark Blue" about corrupt cops (in the timeframe of the Rodney King verdict).

My guess is that the linked 'ET style promo video' has little to do with Kurt Russel himself, or even the body of Russell's work, but is cobbled together from old movie and TV footage by some publicist who wants to promote the recently completed movie "The Rivals of Amziah King" to the 'conservatives' among the US public.

Which AI do you use? The one I use isn't that smart.

Clearly.

But I don't use AI's. Primarily because they aren't, any of them, smart.

All they do is compile data scraped from unstated sources, and present it in a format that complies with language rules.

AI's are unable to evaluate the stuff they present. Frequently, they get very basic stuff entirely wrong.

Additionally, most AI's are 'trained' by workers who try and invent rules to weed out the glaring mistakes produced by the algorithms, but the problem is that an algorithm can ingest far more content, far faster, than humans can fix the algorithms, and such will always be the case.

The term "AI" is currently a marketing scam. Modern search engines are just as capable of providing relevant answers as the cleverest of chatbots. It is just that with the chatbots, the output is formatted differently. The conclusions of an educated person with a search engine to choose from will always be superior to a 'compiled by language model' conclusion.

But answering your off-topic post has forced me to go off-topic, too.
