Time does fly...

... when we are having fun.

And, even with all the problems we have had, that's mostly what I have been having for the last 20 years.

20 years ago, after lurking for one year, I decided to join ATS, one of my intentions was to improve my written English (that still needs some improving after all this time...).

It never crossed my mind that I would be "promoted" to FSME (Forum Subject Matter Expert) and later asked if I wanted to join the staff.
It never crossed my mind either that I would be here for the next 20 years.

Seeing how things are today on ATS, I doubt we (ATS and me) will be here much longer, but these 20 years have been a lot of fun.
I made some friends, I lost some friends, but that's live, either in a real or in a virtual community.

Let's see how much time we can continue on this "journey".

But such is life.

whenever I see a "UFO" picture thread, I always look for your input, as you have not only clarified many sightings, but took the time to share the backup data as to why you came to that conclusion. Lots of folks talk the talk, but it's always impressive to see someone walk the walk as well. Lets hope that in 20 years we are all still complaining about ATS being on it's last leg. I think the See Eye Aye will be nice enough to keep it going for a while longer.

I remeber that searching for further information on the las vegas shooting in 2017 brought me to ATS.

It's been quite an enjoyable ride ever since. May it last for many years to come...

Hehe your first post sounds more literate than any of my posts and I ONLY speak English. I couldn't tell unless you said you were learning I wouldn't have been able to tell English wasn't your first language.

I joined 14 years ago! Lurking for the last 9, this place has drastically changed but thankfully some elements have stayed the same. I feel like it is still a reliable place to find unbiased takes from well-researched people about subjects seldom spoken of
