The Hammerhead mine capability is impressive with their ability to lay dormant and fire a torpedo at a target at range during a conflict once the command is given to become active.

As usual the cost of some of the weapons are astronomical with the Mk-48 and Mk-48 ADCAP torpedoes costing a reported $3.8 - 4.5 million each, depending on sensors installed.
