Ok, who had flesh eating bacteria in Japan for the next disaster?

It seems there is a bacterial infection that is becoming usually active in Japan.

This from Fox.
"Japan is reporting a spike in potentially fatal bacteria infections.

Cases of streptococcal toxic shock syndrome (STSS), which is caused by Group A Streptococcus bacteria, have reached 977 in the country so far this year as of June 2, according to Japan’s National Institute of Infectious Diseases."

www.foxnews.com...

One theory is the covid lockdown reduced the normal exposure to bacteria causing a weakening in the resistance to certain bacteriological infections.

Sounds very reasonable. Covid just keeps on giving, doesn't it.

The article says washing your hands helps slow the spread. From my recent experiences in public restrooms, about half wash.

Why can't I have 6 foot radioactive mutant ants? You know. At least a visible threat.

Bacteria have to eat too. I think something has effected people's immune system over the last three or four years and it is not working properly to identify and properly respond and neutralize all sorts of microbes. Is it the virus, vaccine, or just problems with something in the food supply? Or all three. Endocrine disruptors seem to be increasing in our food supply almost everywhere these days.

You identified the vectors. would love to see medical professionals do the same.

I predicted we would see a huge up-tick in bacterial infections about 2 years ago (here on ATS) after the Covid/vax debacle.

Seeing as this is happening in Japan, I wonder if they have thought of using Ivermectin either internally or even as a 'wash' on the skin, seeing as it was a Japanese scientist who discovered the bacterium that Ivermectin is based on?

I think I will stick to my regular good, cheap, and safe potassium permanganate solution at 32 times strength for drinking water as a sanitizer. 3 cents for 5 gallons and it even removes smells.

Bought 2 pounds when covid hit and still have 6 of the 8 bottles. Gave one away and still have most of the one I am using now.

I am think it showed up more in Japan because of being a more isolated population culturally. They don't allow many permanent migrants into the country as I understand.

There was the Tony award winning singer/ actor here who had limbs amputated during his battle while hospitalized with covid. He did not survive. Can't remember his name. There are reports of 50 cases in 2021-2022. If the immune system is weakened that makes sense.

There was also an uptick on the east coast of the U.S. due to a different strain that comes from a bacteria in water. They state it's due to the rising temperature of the bodies of water.

There is also an uptick of antibiotic resistant bacteria that has the same result of amputation and death.

These other two have predated covid. Nature is not kind.

From what i know, those higly specialized bacteria usually only thrive in the absence of more adapted and less volatile bacteria. Those usually suffocate the more volatile and specialized bacteria. Not so much about resistance, but more about competition...
Maybe disinfecting everything over the top gives a clean surface for those bacteria that otherwise wouldn't be able to thrive due to all the others...

So, all the sanitizing could have caused this or contributed to it. That is great. After scaring some into sanitizing everything.

There is also a whole generation who never played in dirt, drank from a hose, ate vegetables off of the vine, or fruit from a bush or tree.

I was told growing up by my Italian Nonna that basically translates to "everyone should have eaten a bushel of dirt by the time they are grown", meaning it was beneficial to be outside in nature, that you're healthier for it.

Sanitizer could contribute, sure, but they are also finding many long term effects from covid, even in asymptomatic cases of it.

I firmly believe war won't decimate the earth but a virus will.

Viruses have always been natures most effective way to manage overpopulation...
problem being is us dabbling in destructive mechanisms we don't fully understand.

What could possibly go wrong?

Bacteria also need a living organism to survive and they adapt themselves to survive in that environment.... sneaky little microbes that they are!
