There are sock accounts that always reach a feverpitch during election years.

You learn to spot them pretty quickly by a few indicators. Cadence (short, usually two double sentence paragraphs, adjective use (a rather small vocabulary), talking point deployment (cross referenced with MSM) and almost always left leaning.

Or they are bot accounts trying to meet there quota ala Correct the Record type NGOs.

Within two or three minutes of the post happening, certain posts will receive 10 stars.

That's impossible on a dead forum like this.

There would have to be 10 people signed in, who all are sitting on the same thread, reading the same post at the same time, reading it instantly as it is written, and all agreeing with it and giving it a star, and all of those posters remaining silent and not posting anything of their own.

This forum is a dead one. There aren't that many people signed in to be able to get that kind of thing happening. It's just not possible.

Yes the stars have been messed up for years. But not in this way. Something else is going on.

Why can't the mods rectify this by sleuthing out the member responsible for abusing this feature.

yeah but ... the stars all show up on pro-Hamas posts that side with the terrorists. Even the mindless posts that certain posters make (won't name the posters) that are nothing but antisemitic word salad .. .they get the instant 10 stars too.

The political posts ... not seeing it happen. But I could have missed it.
