Hunter Biden Trial Judge Recently Gave One Yr. Jail Sentence in Similar Case

Hunter Biden’s gun trial judge, Maryellen Noreika, recently delivered a one-year sentence to a defendant in a similar gun case.

Noreika sentenced Zhi Dong for lying on government forms about his address when he bought guns at Delaware gun stores on May 2, 2024.

Dong, who pleaded guilty, admitted to living in Maryland while claiming to live in Delaware.

Dong apparently drove the purchased guns to California to a gun store, which was “indicative of trafficking firearms, prosecutors wrote in a sentencing memo.

The defense asked for a six-month sentence, but Noreika gave Dong one year.

So it seems this particular judge takes lying on firearms forms very seriously...and in the very recent case of this Dong, was willing to extend the six month sentence asked for by Dong's defense...by doubling it.

This should be very concerning to Hunter's defense team...and should give us all an opportunity to see if Hunter gets preferential treatment in sentencing...or if he gets treated just like this other Dong.

We shall see.

While I enjoy seeing the DoJ have to find the lowest possible crime to charge Hunter with, it should come as a surprise to no one that they would choose a Constitutional issue.

I'm of the opinion that unless the government can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that hunter was not only on illicit substances but also in commission of another crime, that this case is bunk. Open to being proven wrong.

"18 U.S.C. § 924(a)(1)(A) False statement during the purchase of firearms"

I would assume she went on the list in March of 2021...and remains on it for consideration as Federal Circuit Court positions become available.

It is certainly a form of leverage over her for Biden.

How exactly do you know that he’s not trafficking guns?
Did you read that somewhere?
Did you just make that up?

Did you see that photo of him standing there naked with a pistol, which is not the same pistol which he lied on a firearms form to purchase?
Where’d he get that one?
Did he lie to get that one as well?
Does he still have it?
Did he trade it for drugs?
Using a firearm in the commission of a drug deal is a very serious offense.
If I was a party of drug deals each day I’d certainly be armed.

Yet another inconvenient fact that will be ignored. I read in the NY Post yesterday that the semi auto Hunter was holding in the laptop photo was a pellet gun. I don't believe it one bit myself. With Hunters history of bad judgment I can totally see him being dumb enough to do it with an actual pistol. I wonder if anybody checked to see how many other guns he has purchased? Bet that search would yield surprising results!

Hopefully she'll give Joe the middle-finger by sentencing Hunter to MAX punishment (assuming he's found guilty).

Trump will see jail time for paying his lawyer legal fees.

Hunter, bagman for Joe Biden. will see no jail time and be found innocent for smoking crack and buying guns.

Here's where I'm at with this whole "lawfare" tactic...

It's always going to backfire.

Americans are hardwired to distrust any form of prosecution that brings with it the taint of politics. It ends up further polarizing the sides, and is the worst kind of "slippery slope"; where it stops, nobody knows.

I'm a Trump supporter, so there is my bias.

In Hunter's case, the alleged crime is certainly more clear-cut, but would he really be facing trial if he weren't Joe Biden's son?

Maybe he would, I don't know. But, you see where I'm going here?

Trump's "trial" was clearly politically motivated, which now has me questioning the motivation for another trial that is far less nebulous.

All of which, delegitimizes our very legal system.
