I generally put them in places you may naturally look, but that doesn't draw your attention too much (except for the UFOs & planets). For example,
youtube says 95% of my channel's viewers are men, so I put a thumbs up logo on the butt of the girl in the red dress, 😂. I also put them on
billboards, buildings or other places you'd normally see signs.
The predator alien is right in the middle of the screen as the camera moves to the right, tracking the "Underdog Racing" Camaro through a burnout. It
is only there for a second and I think most people would probably miss it, unless they were watching closely.
I really started doing it as a way to practice motion tracking and object placement for some things I want to do in future videos. It's kinda of a
neat novelty if you happen to notice one of them, you'll probably start looking in the background more. Of course I like aliens and sci-fi and stuff,
so the idea is to say that aliens are here and walk among us, but no one even notices, like in the movie "They Live".
I was approved for Wonder Dynamics beta release, but didn't use it because they were still charging a fee, even for beta. I've thought about getting a
subscription now though. I can get a cheap one for like $250/yr. It gives like 30 minutes of effects/month. That should be well more than enough for
what I need.
Wonder Dynamics essentially turns any person in the video into anything you want. Aliens, robots, cartoon characters, etc. I thought it would be
pretty fun to use.
