Either the Syrian air defense guys were asleep, having tea, or the F-35 is working as advertised. Deep penetration with no resistance..

The IDF has used the F-35 in a variant they decided was best for them. And if memory serves I believe the craft had not been cleared for active duty in the US yet when they first used them in a combat role a few years ago.

What has Syria done to warrant this strike?

Syria? Perhaps watch the whole video. The attacks were aptly described and the reasons.

Maybe an additional video would help to spread the news? If it were a less well known member, I would have thought this a joke.

WHAT A STRIKE! IDF Shoots Down 2 Central Commanders Of The Iran-backed Group In The Heart Of Syria!

With a beginning transcript of:

Shalom dear viewers welcome to the Raptor News Channel. The reason for the meeting of the IDF Northern command and the simulated operations was officially revealed today in Syria and Lebanon.....

I wasn't familiar with the source 'Raptor News' and so watching the video, it took a bit of viewing to tell if this was real or a game. And the words "simulated operations" also threw me for a loop. But there are other sources.

Russia has strongly condemned Israeli airstrikes on the outskirts of Syria's Aleppo. Vladimir Putin's government warned Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu after the strikes. Moscow said that these aggressive actions could lead to extremely dangerous consequences. On June 3, Israeli airstrikes hit the outskirts of Aleppo, killing at least 16 people. According to media reports, most of those killed near Aleppo were pro-Iran fighters.

Good to hear the capabilities.

Though I have heard (and am not an expert), Israel using them in Syria gives Russia a chance to get certain signatures on it with their platforms there.

Though, if it went in undetected that may not be the case.

Hoooray!!!

More war!

*sarcasm*

Where TF are the anti-war left? I’ve lost all respect for the left who I used to agree with their anti war stances. The right has always been predictable war hawks. Is maga anti-war?

Where are the anti-war peeps now (besides us libertarians who were recently bottom-reamed by our party)?

I think it's too late to prevent war now, no matter who the next POTUS is. They're just laying the ground work, with eight more months left to get the job done.

Biden’s admin and the houses just put out new bills making a lot of criticism towards Israel antisemitic.

In the past it’s easy to be critical of wars our allies conduct, this one is walking on eggshells now.

That, and those who do protest have unsavory types along side of them giving them a bad name.

There may be anti war people in the left camp, but it certainly isn’t in the actually leadership.

It’s one of the few issues that often has bipartisan support.

And I’m personally OK with aiding Israel and Ukraine as they’re both pushing back on nations against our interests. But I’d like to limit those wars from escalation and draw a hard line we won’t directly involve ourselves in either.

Russia is only going to get signature information on them if they fly close enough to a decent radar system to be detected. Israel isn't flying deep into Syria, over their Russian AD systems. They're doing what early stealth missions did and are going around any radar threat, and launching long range strikes with Rampage missiles, which are capable of reaching 155 miles, and are designed to hit stationary targets.

Maybe it´s simply because in reality there is no "left" and "right" and these are nothing but fighting terms to sow hatred and discord among the population, us peasants. There normally should be millions of people on the streets against wars/proxy wars/regime changes etc.

But they were drilled to believe that the good things now is: More weapons, more destruction, more devastation, more young dead people because it´s "against the evil on earth". Neonazis nowadays are for Israel as long as the Israelis kill muslims en mass, the people which formerly protested against wars nowadays protest for more weapons. Former environmentalists are now "climate savers" which love to kill forests to build huge wind turbines on huge concrete foundations, if they had walked or cycled a few years ago, they would now all use their long-distance burners as i call them, all these electric vehicles which do not smoke directly from the exhaust but in the factory which generates the electricity they need. People who really believe that they are against fascism showed their real face while the plandemic, here in Germany they were they exact same kind of followers and yes-men like the germans in the 1930´s/1940´s which made Hitler-Deutschland possible. Also just as full of hatred against anyone who does not go along with them, i.e. with the directive given from above, i.e. practically by the Führer. Many people which formerly maybe were very religious and because of that maybe member of one earths big cults are nowadays hanging on the lips of their new prophets, the "UAP disclosure" priests and rather believe in aliens than in thousands of years old fairy tale characters which never showed up all the time. And so on and on.

The whole world is upside down since 2020 and nothing makes really sense anymore that made sense four, five years ago. Somebody is trying to create another reality where useful idiots are painted as the good ones, no matter how bad they in reality are. The worst anti-democrats with the worst anti-democratic behavior disguise themselves as real democrats and brand everybody who dares to criticize or even only question that anti-democratic behavior as anti-democrats. When cultists from afghanistan murder a german cop the first reaction of the so called civil society is a protest against the "right" where the so called antifa (i say "anti"fa) attacks the cops. The press, the supposed fourth estate, has been totally aligned since 2020 and only spreads government or agenda propaganda, witch hunts dissenters instead of reporting objectively, etc.

One could really start to believe that the jabs were not only to make money without regard to losses of peasants lives but that something was in there that drove masses of people insane since they enjoyed their vaccinations. But i believe it´s a simple mass psy-op with the help of the MSM. Nobody is resistant against 24hrs propaganda, especially when not realizing that propaganda is propaganda.

And part of that propaganda has the goal of stirring up the masses against each other, not least with the help of this "left"-"right" crap. People simply should slowly start to realize that there is only a top and a bottom, kings and peasants, the rich and those who spend their life-times with hard work to keep them rich.

Thanks for that info Zaphod.

Good to hear that they’re trying to stay out of those areas.

I imagine it’s just a matter of time before one of our allies has to fly in a theatre with Chinese or Russian radar though. But the longer we put that off the better.

With their signature, barring an F-35 flying within about 20 miles of a Russian radar system they aren't going to get anything. The F-117 that was shot down in Yugoslavia wasn't even seen on radar, with it set at the lowest possible frequency for that radar, until under 30 miles from the antenna. They weren't able to get enough of a look to lock on to it until it was closer to 18 miles. The F-35 is generations better on stealth, meaning it's going to be at least that close before any older system is going to see it. The S400 is estimated to not be able to even see it until 50 miles, but based on its performance in Ukraine, I doubt it's anywhere close to that far.
