Biden never claimed they would be. Quite the opposite, actually. Biden's signature Infrastructure Act was bipartisan. That's why he could get it passed and Trump never could. Trump is the exact opposite of bipartisan. The whole point was to invest in manufacturing and infrastructure all over the country where it was needed, not on the basis of whether a district was red or blue. And that's pretty much how it's been.

The most recent example is the giant EV battery battery plant in Berkley County, South Carolina. Biden's Energy Department made a 2 Billion dollar loan available from the Infrastructure Act to build a first of its kind EV battery recycling and manufacturing plant in the deep red county. It will add 1,500 jobs locally.

Most Americans think that's how it should be, IMHO.

Then why are only two states reaping any kind of benefit for it? By the percentages that is a huge waste of money. Two states account for more than half the jobs created? There is a horrible trend with these types of money give aways, a large percentage of the jobs evaporate as soon as that federal spigot gets turned off. Lots of promises but really pulling short on results!
