JSA:The Return of Hawkman

I have been slowly getting back into comics over that couple of years. I usually go out and buy a TPB's once a month. For those of you who don't know a TPB is a Trade Paper Back form which is a collection of all the comics in any given storyline.

This month I picked up JSA: The Return of Hawkman



The story starts of with the JSA being attacked while everyone is having a day off so to speak. My favorite part of the first story is where a Flash type villian is litterally killing people by running through them at supersonic speeds. Not to spill the beans on too much of the story it's a time/travelling ,world spanning adventure that in the end brings back A popular character by the name of you guess it Hawkman.

It actually explains and cleans up a bit of continuety that has plagued this character. and brings him back in a believeable way(okay believeable for comics at least). It was an easy and enjoyable read. I have found JSA to be an enjoyable comic every month and this book is definetly one of the better story arcs that they have had.

Picked up my copy at borders, but i have just found it on amazon for 13bucks(i paid 20 )

I was more of a Hawkgirl fan.
