It's the End of May .... Roll the Cheese ! - Cooper's Hill 2024

The Coopers Hill cheese roll is a tradition believed to date back some 600 years , a cheese is rolled down the hill and coopetitors race to be first to the bottom with as few broken bones as possible to claim the cheese .... that's just been rolled down a muddy hill ... Brits , although 2 of the winners aren't British.

It looks like SEAL Team training without the live ammunition.

But that doesn't mean it's easy going...

Despite not being a big fan of cheese, Orian won the under-11s uphill race in her first-ever attempt.

But she said that she had no plans to eat the prize after putting in a strong effort to claim it.

Yep. Us Brits are plain bonkers. That's a 45 degree hill!

God, think I'll have a pint of Scrumpy....

I can't begin to imagine why one would care to do this.
