Ok I know I know this forum is not for member predictions, but I dont know where else to put anything like it.

Will anyone do anything bad on April 20th ? Remember this date is famous for bringing out the nut jobs.

Just a question....

Both Napoleon III and Hitler were born on April 20th.

Is it because of Columbine that you're thinking this? I can't find much else of significance for the day.

Oh.. except that Cook discovered Australia.

You're off by a day. It's April 19th that stuff goes down on. Lets see, Waco burned to the ground on April 19th. The Murrah federal building was bombed on April 19th. It's always something.

My son was born on April 18th and will turn 21 years old the day after tomorrow so i'm predicting the worlds worst hangover will occur April 19th of this year.

Love and light,

Wupy

Isn't 4/20 the day where.... you know.... National pot smoking day

No wonder everybody seems "slightly" unusual that day. THC + Conspiracy site = Good Times waiting to happen.

Gosh all I hear of around here from the teens is that 420 is the international pot smoking day

I have asked whether everyone gets bent at 4 20 am 4 20 pm or 4 20 utc or even 20 04

I think everyones just supposed to be bent all day and night

Also, Luther Vandross, George Takei (Sulu), Don Mattingly, and Andy Serkis (Smeagol, LOTR) were born that day.
Christopher Robin Milne died that day.
And in Canada and the US it is "smoke up day"

the term 420 originated at San Rafael High School, in 1971, among a group of about a dozen pot-smoking wiseacres who called themselves the Waldos, who are now pushing 50. The term was shorthand for the time of day the group would meet, at the campus statue of Louis Pasteur, to smoke pot.
brandy

We had heard rumors that one of the members brothers had planted a pot patch in the wooded area around town. We all wanted to go look for this patch of weed, so we devised to meet eachother by the statue of Louis Pasteur after school. Since we all had after school activities or electives that lasted about fifty minutes, and since it took about ten minutes to get from school to our after school activities, and another ten minutes to walk from the activites to the statue. Since there were many of us we decided that 420 would be a good time to meet so we could go search for the patch of pot.

These two quotes are from the link Dreamlandmafia posted, and they kind of intrigued me because of the coincidence of where they would meet, the statue of Pasteur.
April 20th, 1862, the first pasteurization test is carried out by Louis Pasteur. Did the Waldo's know that, or is it just another cool coinkidink?

mrwupy,

Your avatar is outrageously funny.

Can't be too many cars around that can get up to that speed. probably less than 00.01%.

If you can go that fast you can outrun a slow plane. No cop car could catch you. I wonder what most [non-military] helicopters top speeds are?
