Trump did receive that 1 million dollar loan. But that doesn't make what I said false because that wasn't the only time he received money from his dad. That's why I said millions, plural.

Democrat sources claim he received as much as $400M in gifts, loans and other assets from his father over the years. That's likely bull# because Democrats constantly lie about him.

I'm not trying to argue how much it really was because there's no way of knowing for sure. It was more than 1 million. But even the Democrat number, $400M, means he's a hugely successful businessman. And, as you said, a self-made billionaire.

It's hilarious that Democrats need to comfort themselves by telling themselves he *only* increased his wealth by 15 or 20 times instead of 50 times. They have to tell themselves increasing your wealth 15x over is a failure.

It is literally a mental illness.

I did read (awhile back) a prediction America would adopt a “senate style” government without a single figurehead.

But seeing the infighting of both parties today — that doesn’t look promising either.

It was the New York Times that did the research and came up with that 413 million number, not going to pretend I know that number is absolutely correct. But, he obviously was given/inherited enough that any normal person could’ve lived comfortably on for the rest off there life.

Either way, I don’t really care. I think the more important issue here is another perfect example of a blatant Trump lie that people still believe… when he claimed in 2015 that he was only ever given 1 million from his father and built the rest of his wealth off that.

It’s been proven false so many times, yet people still state it as fact.

It's a lot more complicated than that because I don't know what any other loans and such were for. If they were for some of Trump's other business ventures that didn't go so well, but that $1M is all he built his real estate empire from (which is pretty much where most of his wealth is) then what he said could be accurate.

Without getting a really good look at his books, we'll never know for sure.

It's just crazy to me that so many Democrats are comforted by things like "See! He's only made $2.5 billion and not $3 billion!" or nonsense like that. It's #ing deranged.

Remember that when people tell you most voters aren't Democrat or Republican but there's actually more Independents.
