They're taking their cues from Huxley's Brave New World.

In the novel certain forms of literature were removed from the populace because it caused no end of conflict and strife between the members of the social body.

Such works were only available to those capable of reading them objectively and with a rational mind because it was deicided by the World Leaders that the general populace was too reactionary to handle the books with any degree of intelligence.

Instead, the population was supersaturated with sex and consumer conditioning to keep them occupied and controlled.

They're attempting to do this now, but they underestimated how humans actually behave when everything is handed to them.

Now we have kids with government money buying cars, weapons and all manner of props to run rampant int he name of fulfilling personal fantasies of power, conquest and bloodlust.

It's a social experiement, and I thank the stars every day I go into town and find things operating normally because being forced to integrate with these idiots on a large scale would be absolutely infuiriating.

I mean, the entire resurgance of Radical Islam is because a few hot headed militants got on the television and started pulling parts of the Koran out of context and without historical context in order to brainwsh an illiterate populace into fulfilling their personal power plays.

There are countless examples of Christian sects who constantly reinforce certain passages to their flocks to drive home their desired ideals, but then again, Christians aren't really running around beheading people who don't conform.

Please don't get me wrong, I'm not in favor of authoritative and draconian agendas that seek to censor and strip aways someones right to worship freely, but unfortunately, there are assholes in the Halls of Power who are complete hypocrites when it comes to anything that threatens their vision for a planetary Utopia.

Unfortunately, the number of blind idiots falling lock and step into the designs of those pulling the strings under the guise of their personal "intellectual superiority" are growing in number.

Everybody wants to rule the world.

They should also charge all the little bastards parents for the mess and trash they left. Clean up looks horribble.

I agree with you to a certain extent but I think the goal extends way beyond stripping away freedom of worship. They want to control freedom of thought and with brain chips now being introduced publicly, taking a page from 1984, the Thought Police will become a thing of reality.

I don't necessarily believe it's the current generations that are the "entitled brats". I think we were all viewed as entitled brats going back probably to the end of the Depression & WWII. The term "teenager" didn't become part of our lexicon until the 1940s - 50s. Before that, you transitioned from childhood to adulthood. There was no liminal period of being a teen so you could 'sow your oats' so to speak.

Regardless, going forward, I think things are going to be different. The era of entitlement is coming to an end. Hard times are ahead but they'll make sure society is well subdued with a nice even flow of dopamine releasing stimulation.

A few years ago I had to commute using the Glastonbury train.

Seats covered in mud, full of abandoned rucksacks, sleeping bags, tents and all sorts of crap. For others to clean up.

I had a prat wearing a leather jacket tell me that meat is murder during a London protest once.

I couldn't stop laughing.

He looked so confused.

NYPD said nearly half of those arrested weren't college students.

That's important. That needs to be investigated.

That also means most of them were college students, though. I think this focus on the outside agitators is a cop out that's taking the focus off how thoroughly brainwashed our college youth are and how susceptible they are to propaganda.

That's the bigger problem if you ask me.

Oh believe me I'm very aware of MK and such things.

I'm a military brat and grew up in that world, starting my studies of such programs at a very young age.

I was also targeted by "them" when I had a massive break from reality in my 20's, ended up being diagnosed as a Schizophrenic, and shortly after I began recieving a very meager SSDI dispersal being accosted by all sorts of psychotronic harassment, commanding voices, havuing my higher mind overridden by fear responses, direct threats and all manner of irrational behavior I couldn't control from forces I still struggle to understand and explain.

I won't get into the details because they're largely inconsequential and nothing more than a fantastical story for those who don't deal with these realities as initmately as some of us, and to be honest, they've finally become bored and disinterested in me and I'd rather not attract their attentions again.

Long story short, the majority of people aren't being targeted by these types of things because it would disrupt day to day operations and disrupt commerce and the business of life too much.

So relax, crack a beer, find something you enjoy and focus on the good things in life.

If you missed this you shouldn't be making decisions.

Spot on, I totally agree.

The students should be held accountable, especially as new young adults. It’s best for them in the long run.
In the case of the outside agitators, there needs to be investigation by somebody not sympathetic to their cause. Make examples of them.
No amnesty.

Interesting thing about UCLA, if you throw a rock from that campus you could hit Bel Air, Brentwood and Beverly Hills.
All wealthy and disproportionally Jewish populated cities.

Are you sure you are seeing "eye for an eye" just because Hamas claims a high casualty count?

If someone took your people for hostages, would you then kill or kidnap an equivalent number of their people and call it good?

They are probably trying to damage or destroy Hamas' ability to conduct raids and take hostages, not simply cause a certain amount of retribution.

There may even be a calculated math involved on Hamas' part. They may say "we will take 252 hostages then they will kill 252 of us, then after that we can cry genocide" but suppose they had each simply planned to have one child to pass on the family and one child for Jihad and Martyrdom so they could go to heaven? They do seem to be running out of room but that's not something I have researched.
