Nice. I love this song too, I had know idea that it was echo and the bunnymen my brain never remembers the words to a whole song. Thanks for sharing, I will try to post a song I like. I love hearing other tastes in music, variety.

Lips Like Sugar, is another one I like by those guys. A lot of bands did versions of that song, plus live versions by Echo and the Bunnymen. Good stuff, thanks.

Here's a favorite Echo song from the brief period when Ian McCulloch quit the band for a solo career and they decided to carry on under the same moniker with a new singer/lyricist (the brilliant Noel Burke). Hardcore fans rebelled and the record went nowhere. A true shame because it's a fantastic record that stands on its own, and I'm a huge Ian fan.
Under any other name I think it would have gotten the recognition it deserves.

Here they are playing at Glastonbury back in '97 with my old mate Mike Lee drumming for them.



The only time I saw them live they were rather less animated on stage, complete darkness and motionless....weird.

It's a fantastic album throughout. Like I said, between the fans and the critics it was doomed from the start. I recently got a mint copy of the LP from Germany. The shipping was 3X what I paid for the record but still totally worth it.
