The GOP-led House Judiciary Committee on Thursday launched an investigation into the daughter of Manhattan judge Juan Merchan, who oversaw former president Donald Trump’s hush-money trial and conviction, over her past work for Vice President Kamala Harris and Democrats.

Representative Jim Jordan (R., Ohio), in his official capacity as committee chairman, demanded that Loren Merchan hand over records of her work since 2023 for a Democrat-affiliated marketing firm whose clients include Harris, President Joe Biden, and the Democratic National Committee.

Before the criminal trial started, Trump’s lawyers asked Judge Merchan to recuse himself from the case due to his daughter’s work for Authentic Campaigns. The judge refused to do so even though the Chicago-based political consulting firm, which his daughter leads, had a vested interest in the outcome of the court proceedings against Trump, who was ultimately convicted on 34 counts of falsifying business records related to a hush-money payment to Stormy Daniels during the 2016 campaign.

Human trafficking is horrible. I know someone that worked to liberate woman that were trafficked. The stories are sad. And surprisingly many women are the ones that purchase trafficked women. One woman that he tried to liberate didn't want to leave because she didn't want to go back to living in the street in her home country. She said that she was taken care of, had clothing, had food and that the husband wasn't bad looking. So she would rather stay. So yes. Very real.

Trump spokesman labels ruling as a 'decisive win' for president-elect.

Judge Juan Merchan on Friday granted President-elect Donald Trump's request to file a motion to dismiss the charges in New York v. Trump and removed the sentencing date for the president-elect from the schedule.

Merchan said Trump attorneys have until Dec. 2 to file their motion for dismissal. Merchan said Bragg has until Dec. 9 to respond.

Merchan also confirmed the stay in sentencing for Trump, which was requested by both Trump's and Bragg's attorneys. The sentencing was scheduled for Nov. 26, but on Friday, Merchan said that date "is adjourned."

Trump spokesman and incoming White House communications director Steven Cheung reacted to Merchan's ruling Friday, telling Fox News Digital it is a "decisive win" for the president.

This case reminds me of TV soap-opera. But nevertheless, the Trump-hating District Attorney in New York City (ALVIN BRAGG) is determined to convict former President/2024 candidate Donald Trump of a crime before the Presidential Election this November.

So, in 2023 Bragg indicted Donald Trump for using $130,000 in 2016 from an non-authorized source (election fund?), to pay Stripper-PornActress Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about a sex act...or something. One of Donald Trump's personal attorneys named Michael Cohen, wrote out the check to Stormy. He says it was done at the direction of candidate Trump in 2016. This would normally be a misdemeanor, but greasy obese Alvin Bragg found some legal trick to upgrade this to a "hush money" payoff to a FELONY.

Furthermore, because New York Governor Kathy Hochul has given attorneys and judges in her state the "green light" to target former resident Donald J. Trump, a hate-filled scumbag judge named JUAN MERCHAN has been assigned to this case/trial, just like his crooked colleague, corrupt judge Arthur Engoron was assigned to preside over the New York real estate crime trial, cooked up against Donald Trump & his family, by New York Attorney General Letitia James.

What judge JUAN MERCHAN is doing to Donald Trump is as despicable and illegal as what Arthur Engoron did to candidate Trump during the multi-week JURY-less trial that ended last month, with a $500 million fine levied, solely by judge Engoron.

This "Hush-Money" trial starts on April 15th, when the JURY SELECTION process commences. However, judge JUAN MERCHAN is already showing his stupidity, by being an unhinged azzhole with the man who will likely be the President of the United States in 10 months.

Jesse Watters ran a devastating segment last night on radical Judge Juan Merchan, who silenced President Donald Trump from talking about his family’s financial ties to the current junk case he is presiding over against Donald Trump, in New York City.

Merchan is setting up their exit strategy. The case will be dismissed eventually. They will milk it for what it's worth (which ain't much but they have to answer to somebody soon enough 😁)

One Merchan strategy is to not sentence Trump. An Appeal can't be filed until after sentencing. Brilliant because the case gets dismissed on Appeal anyway and THAT is the embarrassing part they need to avoid. 😀
