Johnson Whips Out Ukraine Funding Promise To Appease Senate, No Mention Of Border Security

Not surprising.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (RINO-LA) told Republican Senators that the House would be sending over legislation to send more US taxpayer funds to defend Ukraine's border.

www.zerohedge.com...

We are truly sunk. Let's see if Johnson gets the axe for bending the knee just like McCarthy.

There are several different pay/repay schemes being CONsidered, but this sums up the multitude of hints Johnson has given that he'll acquiesce to Uniparty demands:

"No one wants Vladimir Putin to prevail. I’m of the opinion that he wouldn’t stop at Ukraine … and go all through the way through Europe," Johnson told reporters during the House Republican retreat at the Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia late Wednesday. "There is a right and wrong there, a good versus evil in my view, and Ukraine is the victim here."

CIA controlled Ukraine is the victim here, remember that. Smh.

Johnson's appeal to the senate came one day after Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) pressured him to bring the Senate-passed package funding Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan to the House floor.

"I did get the sense that after the appropriations bills were taken care of that they would turn to that, and there have been a number of suggestions. One has to do with the forfeiture, basically, of $300 billion in Russian assets, which I think is a great idea," said Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), who was one of 22 GOP senators who voted for the package last month.

As for seizing Russian assets, Cornyn said "It would be justice to make the Russians to pay for Ukraine, pay the United States and allies for arming Ukraine."

Cornyn also voiced support for the lend-lease program for Ukraine, either on top of - or instead of, the $60 billion included in the Senate's emergency funding package.

Is anyone STILL unclear about the governments priorities? Jobama's SOTU speech opened with Ukraine FIRST, above anything else that's affecting everything else, it's Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan... ALWAYS. Those money pits are the Uniparty's bread and butter. Here's the most vocal proponent just under Jotato and McConnell:

Lindsey Graham (RINO-SC), meanwhile, said that a lend-lease program would help Ukraine to stop Russia from making gains on the battlefield.

I don't think a change in presidency is going to affect the outflow either:

Johnson suggested that the package could be a loan or lend-lease program in order to pretend that the US will ever see any return on the 'investment' - an idea floated by former President Donald Trump last month.

Let's see if Johnson will be removed as speaker. If he doesn't get canned similarly to McCarthy, then by all accounts this citizen/gov symbiosis experiment is over.

I guess you can write or call your representatives, might be worth a try. 🙄

When Democrats threatened to stop any effort to get rid of Johnson last month, you could tell trouble was brewing with this guy. If Democrats like The congressman, maga Republicans should not give that person any authority.

Do you have a list of what would be sent under this bill so I can evaluate my portfolio?

It's your own fault if you haven't been making money off of this.

We can circle back to my original choice for house speaker, congressman Byron Donalds of Florida. He and Donald Trump are exactly alike with their thinking... And neither man can be intimidated.

What a crock and a waste of money. Why not just burn tax payers money it would actually save more lives than sending it to corrupt Ukraine.

Not everyone aspires to be a sociopath. I certainly don't.

Yes, but Trump isn't exactly against MORE funding as well. He'll definitely side with Israel, and if it will thumb the nose at China, he'll support Taiwan as well.

Question: if Trump takes care of the border, would the other funding be acceptable?

He doesn't have much of a choice. There's two separate discharge petitions that are gaining steam that would force a vote.

God DAMN THESE FRIGGIN IDIOTS!!! NOBODY WANTS TO PAY for Ukraine anymore. And their unwinnable war. That 100% filthy corrupt country and their under the table payoffs and their going thru with all this which has basically wiped their entire male population out. It may not supposed to happen in this day and age, but it is and will always be a cold fact of war. Sometimes you need to make a decision based solely on not having a chance and it not being worth forcing your population to go die when there is no chance to win. Small nations have surrendered to large ones since the beginning of time. And this time especially when Russia says it has no choice but to go nuclear if they continue to fight...

Personally I think it would be best to give up on your MAGA dream of complete compliance with MAGA. It is dangerous and from what I have read from your posts you would be a easy target for fascist groups to groom as it seems to have already taken root. You should for the sake of your party before a major election support your Trump endorsed speaker. Because if your party doesn't, how do you think the rest of the world will view your next 47th? I believe food for thought

In favor of what exactly? If you actually have a better alternative, by all means, spill the beans!

The floor is yours.

I didn't say say give up on the MAGA dream. It itself is a great idea at its root. The idea he has is not MAGA. It is a fascist dictatorship. Go ahead and ask him some key questions and find out yourself.
I would like to add that just because he says a few key words and presents himself as somone that is MAGA just know he is using that idea as a subversion.

Okay, I'll rephrase.

Why should he support speaker Johnson?

Further, since when do we consider the world first before selecting our leaders? How do you think the world views the US now?

Because Johnson has true America conservative values at heart and will defend them while at the same time be able to come to a compromise. And I do believe he has many cards to puwll and should be that parties next presidential candidate.

FYI: Donald Trump and Kevin McCarthy have been friends since 2017, when McCarthy constantly helped President Trump fight off hate-filled Democrats in Congress and Media.

Donald Trump wholeheartedly endorsed McCarthy for Speaker, after GOP won the House majority in 2022.

Those who forced Kevin McCarthy out, and replaced him with Mike Johnson, may actually be WOLVES in Sheep's clothing, like FBI Director Christopher Wray proved himself to be.

Good Lord. Who in the GOP is 100% trustworthy MAGA? I know Marjorie Taylor-Green, Elize Stefanik, and Byron Donalds are.

DONALD TRUMP himself can be Speaker until 1/1/2025! The House works in D.C. only 114 days this year. Even with court and campaigning, our next President can handle that kiddie-tot schedule!

No, it's not worth a try. This Constitutional Republic is on life support at this point and trying to reason with politicians is a futile effort. Even they know this Republic's days are numbered.
