The only way to the Father is through Jesus and the gate is narrow.

I'm not speaking of a specific religion. I believe multiple denominations follow the Bible in their way. As long as the path is through Jesus it's good.

Many choose to not accept the way. For some reason loving your neighbors as you do yourself is a hard thing, and Loving God enough to not have other gods before him seems way out for them. Most don't believe they have a god, but they sure do. They worship the gods of this Earth who were sent here until Judgement day.

You are referring to atomic energy shells that house electrons I presume. Some people have ESPN, but nobody has ESP. Well, maybe some one.

a god trying to lead you a certain direction wouldn't limit itself to any one form to do so.

Unless we really do project our ideas about God from our own image.
Then we are more likely confirming our own Myers-Briggs profile.

The author of the book of Revelations was probably a Christian from Ephesus known as "John the Elder."
Why is the largest number of shells in any element currently known is 7?
Maybe that John knew?

Is anything possible for God?

Matt 26:39

Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible , may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.

It was for YOU and MY LEARNING how not to act and at that point, the lack of worthiness was being setup for Jesus to fulfil the forgiveness of man if we do two simple things. Love God (by having no other gods) and to love your neighbor like he was you.

The teachings were for the Tribes of Israel who were miraculously saved by God, but kept forgetting and trampling on God's will. Even those chosen who had witnessed God's glory 1st hand were proving MAN is going to be a sinner, period. Sin of man was a thing that was passed down after exercising his FREE WILL when Adam ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. He did this when he was told it would ruin him and cause his death. His 1st death was the separation from the Garden of Eden and the 2nd one came at the end of his days.

I wonder, my friend, what your opinion is regarding this OT verse, which presents quite a conflict to the NT verse you are quoting, does it not?

(said the LORD)

“And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.”

Exodus 33:20

I have tried to get into some of the ethics which concern me about these 2 ideas in the OT & NT in previous discussions with you. Maybe we can delve a little further in this thread…

It was God's will. This was to allow for man to be able to be pure thru the blood of the Son of God giving his life in a brutal execution for all of those who would come after him. The "sacrificial lamb" was Yeshua. No more do you need to take an unblemished sheep to Jerusalem to be sacrificed on the Altar for your sins. All you do is accept Jesus/Yeshua and the gift of the Holy Spirit will descend.

If a doctor lets a patient die, when the patient could have been saved, the law of the land regards the doctor as liable for the death.

Usually the victim’s surviving kin can gets millions from lawsuits charging wrongful death.

Some type of healing requires full commitment from the patient.

Often, this is not the case.

They are crippled with fear, and so, they cannot bring what needs be into focus.

John 3

[...]The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.[...]

[...]I tell you the truth, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony.[...]

I'm familiar with the story.

I just think that for such an amazing being in his infinite wisdom masquerading as love could've used his unmatched ability to create a beautiful story instead of such an ugly one.

It is not NORMAL for a father to tell his SON that he has to die because his father wills it.

Nowhere in that scenario does it speak of love. If you are a dad you would understand it.

It goes against anything one would call love. It speaks to an abusive relationship.

“ They are crippled with fear, and so, they cannot bring what needs be into focus.”

Who do you refer to with this statement? Let me guess…

The children of the Sun Light?

They are a lesser force than the children of the Moon Light?

Imagine a scenario, where a gunman has taken 50 unarmed hostages. These 50 hostages could all over power the gunman, but not without some of them being killed. Thus, they have no choice but to abide by the gunman’s demands.

Anyway, that’s just a little faith I have that there is at least some good in the Universe.

Nobody is holding me hostage from expressing myself anonymously in this forum. But I would not, for example, express these beliefs to co-workers, at this time.

Honestly I'm puzzled at your notion of these children of the moon.

I meant as I said.

Had the ones being healed by Christ doubted him, they would not have been healed.

Bertrand Goldschmidt was a chemist.

The book of Revelations is New Testament but Oppenheimer quoted from the Bhagavad Gita which dates a few hundred years BC.

This universal (observation/confirmation) amongst peers that Oppenheimer described was Vishnu taking on his multi-armed form (I'm assuming it was the later 18 armed version).
Its not unlike the beast with seven heads in Revelations.

Many sheep many pens.

I don’t know Jesus. He hasn’t been there for me.

I just assume when he was crucified some 2000 years ago, it was really an orgy, and that he had fasted the same way I describe here.

What if I told you that you don't have to know him?

But you should still heed his word.

It would be good for you.

Whom do you answer to, if you don't mind my asking?

I have an employer who I regard as my customer who I answer to. I have a wife and kids who I’m responsible for and I answer to them. Here is where I go in my free time and I answer whoever corresponds with me and gives me an opportunity to express my positions.

Like I have tried to posit, I feel like I got the biggest riddles of the Bible figured out, and that is usually what I come here to express.
