If we want to get conspiratorial, Mitch McConnell's sister-in-law recently died under mysterious circumstances when her Tesla drove into a lake. The accident occurred about an hour outside Austin, TX. Guess where Tesla is headquartered? And guess who gave Trump an endorsement today?

The only thing I can think of is potential access to the powers of presidency. And if that is the case that means Trump will be Musk's puppet.

The biggest problem with that, is that kind of behavior has only been seen coming from 95% democrats and the left. Never from Trump. Trump doesn't sell political favors unlike Joe Biden, Hillary, Obama, etc. (They got all their wealth from selling government influence for pay.)

Of course all the democrats behave this way like the above mentioned names, and when Trump is a threat to them, they blame him of their own duplicity. Besides that, Elon Musk has shown he doesn't play that game the way current democrats do. He doesn't have to, because people from government who aren't harboring criminal intent come to him hoping he will bring jobs to their state, and they offer tax incentives and business incentives for Musk to go there.

Elon Musk doesn't need to bribe anyone at any time, and Trump would never do anything like that. Leftist will scream and say "Yes he does, wah wha wah! Because they know only their own corrupted value system, and all that is decent and true is not among them, but they believe everyone is just like they are.
