Quiz, infinity question

In an infinite universe, there would be an infinite number of possibilities but only a finite amount of ways to build things in terms of the basic natural elements (assuming Bob's universe works the way we think ours does.) That would mean that patterns of matter would have to repeat themselves ad infinitum. Thus Bob, the biggest fish in the universe, has infinite copies of himself swimming around the universe infinity.

Our physics models are our best effort at trying to write down what "rules" the universe operates under, and it appears those rules apply wherever we look with our telescopes.

What physical rule is going to prevent one of those infinite number of fish the exact same size as Bob was from having one more molecule than Bob did? If they have one more molecule, then they are not the exact same size as Bob was.

Jokes aside, infinity is a concept and doesn't actually exist outside of abstract language that describes a fiction.

I would change your last sentence to read:

...infinity is a concept and *does* exist outside of abstract language that describes a *state of being*.
