Do you know who the other candidates for Rochdale were and it demographics?

My point is when they are all tossers, it’s only a choice of which tosser to choose from, which isn’t much of a choice at all. That’s the state of things and that’s why people don’t bother voting.
Let down constantly by one side or the other, over generations kind of makes you lose faith in the process and system.

I was about to chime in with the below 50% turnout in Rochdale.
What happened to anyone standing up to the ongoing grooming gangs that has now made Rochdale infamous. Do the people who stood as Parliamentary candidates not care? Was there any one of them that said they will stand up and be counted to clean up Rochdale in more ways than just the grooming gangs?
It's not quite over yet though. I understand Reform Party are making noises about the mail in ballots and allege they have evidence...... let's see where IF that one goes.
All the other by-elections have also had less than 50% turnout, or there abouts. It's a complete reflection of how disenfranchised the public are....... and that's what both main parties are hoping for..... time will tell between now and the general election..... unless riots start happening on the streetsw.

You may have a point there, given the candidates support for the Palestinians.
