Show me a single photon. By yourself. Not something someone said.
Show me a nebula. By yourself.
A galaxy.
An ocean.
A shark.

Just stop...

I'm starting to think this site is a hangout for drunks.

Dark matter is a name for something not understood. Read a damn sentence before arguing. You're effectively arguing against yourself without realizing it.

EDIT: Let me explain dark matter like I do to my single digit children: an unknown (likely) particle or force indirectly observable via the effects of gravity. Just as dark energy is the name given to the magical expansion of the universe. Both proven by science. Yes, both "said" by people. Everything is said by people. Not everything is a conspiracy. I suppose our sun is really a giant flashlight too.

Bonus: what were trees called before they were named? Fish? Photons? Etc? Get my point, pal?

Your last post wasn't relevant to the topic of the thread but here is some relevant information.

www.space.com...

Axion stars' that went boom after the Big Bang could shed light on dark matter

Axion stars, should they exist, would become unstable once they reach a certain mass. This would result in the stars exploding and releasing bursts of radiation.
