>>>THE FBI lost a chance to uncover the September 11 plot by failing to investigate evidence that two of the suicide hijackers were living with a bureau informant, a congressional inquiry is expected to report this week.

The study also contains new evidence suggesting that a Saudi Arabian government agent may have been a key associate of the al Qaeda attackers, according to Newsweek magazine.

The long-delayed conclusions of the 900-page report, to be released on Thursday, raises new concerns about the FBI missing critical clues on 9-11 and raises questions about whether Saudi officials were secretly monitoring the hijackers or even facilitating their conduct.

One US congressman involved in the probe told the magazine the findings were "a scathing indictment of the FBI as an agency that doesn't have a clue about terrorism".

Well lets see,

At the risk of sounding like a broken record here goes

When investigating the possibility of a conspiracy always ask who stood to gain by removing all the fail safes that have been impossed to prevent such an act?

FAA, NORAD,CIA,etc.... the list goes on and now the FBI informant fails to inform, fire the nit wit. Why are we employing him with my tax dollars if he is not goijng to do his danm job

Those planes should have been shot down long before they reached NYC airspace, especially the one that took a sharp left at Springfield, Ma. an hour out of NYC

America wake up

Monkey quote

Good Morning Monkey,

Guess I am a bit more cynical than you. And question who and where in the chain this type of info is deleted or surpressed. I repeat cynical, not paranoid.

Don't worry we did after 911....

At least when it comes to planes. I fly pretty often, and you can see everybody (especially experienced fliers) checking for suspiscious activity often. If anybody tries anything like 911 again with planes...the plane will go down before it hits its target...that's for sure....

What we really need to wake up to, are our other soft targets...and make sure we are guarding them as well.

I would go with the latter. In the 93 wtc bombing the FBI had their fingerprints all over that crime.

Wake up america.

It was brilliant to use war game exercises to shadow and hide the real attack.

Unsuspecting good workers at norad were duped into believing they were all involved in training exercises.

Nice trick.
