when i was 4 years old my daddy brought home a
.30-.30 lever action deer rifle,,,,, cowboy model
WOOOOO-HOOOOO
i was roaming the house with it
pretend shooting my teddy bears and
little green plastic army guys,
cocking the lever back n forth was the best part
now, i knew the gun was real, and unloaded
and my dad woulda whupt my *ss
if i so much as pointed it at someones leg or butt
i was a good shot even back then too
and had FULL UNRESTRICTED ACCESS
to as much ammo as you could shoot
a rifle on top of the doorway,
shotgun behind the door, both always loaded
my friends often went behind our houses (in the woods)
shooting bottles and cans, hot wheels, quarters
and army men... and NO ONE ever got shot
everyone was friends with everyone
and most of us were in boyscouts
we were pretty wild back then,
half our parents drank alot, 1/3rd bikers
we had our fair share too
people physically interacted and helped each other
not TEXTING or now even worse just hitting the
smiley face/emotion button,
now people no longer talk/text,
just the damn emotion emoji's
too many one-child families
they never learn to share, or get along with someone
never learn diplomacy, always expect to get what they want
problems socializing, loners, anxiety in crowds
dont understand the meaning of NO
the bigger the family the better
and community gatherings are a must
the more we help each other, the better off we ALL will be
