International diplomats are confident Taylor Swift can make it from her world tour stop in Tokyo to the Super Bowl in Las Vegas in time to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
The Embassy of Japan in Washington, DC released a punny statement on Saturday, assuring fans they can "confidently Speak Now" that Swift can make it from her concert in Tokyo on February 10 to the Super Bowl in Las Vegas on February 11, when the Kansas City Chiefs will play the San Francisco 49ers. Swift has been dating Kelce, a Chiefs tight end, since the summer.
"We know that many people in Japan are excited to experience Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, so we wanted to confirm that anyone concerned can be Fearless in knowing that this talented performer can wow Japanese audiences and still make it to Las Vegas to support the Chiefs when they take the field for the Super Bowl wearing Red," the embassy's statement said.
San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey's mom, Lisa MCaffrey, didn't mince words when speaking about Taylor Swift ahead of Super Bowl LVIII.
During the Feb. 2 episode of her Your Mom podcast, Lisa discussed the 49ers win against the Detroit Lions on Jan. 28—securing the 49ers a spot at the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs on Feb. 11. She also sent a blunt message about the pop superstar in the process.
“I refuse to listen to Taylor Swift songs for the next 11 days,” she said on the podcast. “I love her, I love the relationship—but yep, we are boycotting any T-Swift songs,” she added.
That's because Larry Flynt's Hustler Club in Las Vegas, roughly a mile from the Super Bowl site of Allegiant Stadium, is offering Kelce and Swift the couple package of a lifetime if Kelce can win a third Super Bowl.
According to TMZ, the strip club would give the couple a $1 million package that includes unlimited access to their Mohney Suite, an Ace of Spades champagne bottle parade, $50,000 in cash, roundtrip limo transportation, and a lifetime VIP Platinum Membership – aka free lap dances.
"We are used to catering to A-list celebrities and athletes alike so we can ensure their discretion will be met while partying inside our venue," the club's general manager, Brittany Rose, told TMZ.
