Mars helicopter Ingenuity has flown its last flight after suffering rotor damage

Ingenuity's expected 30 day mission actually lasted 3 years , it spent nearly 129 minutes cruising the Martian sky over its 72 flights but on the 18th January while it was preparing to land following its 72nd flight NASA lost contact with Ingenuity , contact was re-established and data was downloaded revealing the bad news.
Looks like it came down hard.

NASA say goodbye to Ingenuity


Another great job NASA , Ingenuity was our first eye in an alien sky I look forward to the next generation and the many skies we will see.

It definitely exceeded expectations.

However, it did not find the ancient alien civilization.

An amazing test of tech, very successful.
And it turned out to be more than just a test. The mission was really enhanced having a scout available.
